What did they do to piss him off

He wanted to go to the Commanders or Steelers but we didn't accept their lowball offers. That and when he was dropping passes you could hear the moaning and booing from the crowd that might have pissed him off.

Pretty much

Screw the wannabe T.O. Diva. Regardless his best days, are past him, coming off a gruesome injury to bounce back from, especially when it will certainly neutralizes his strengths as a player when he does come back. Plus he won't have Prime CMC, Kittle, and Deebo for defenses to focus on out there to help him get open

Very good when he was healthy, but nothing great, and certainly not worth the headache . Kick rocks already

If BA wanted to go to Steelers and Pats that bad, he could have easily accepted a lesser sign and trade but he wanted to be here and be PAID and act like a DIVA.

There are plenty of X receivers and Kyle is a run first offense anyways.

We had a trade in place with the patriots they were even willing to pay him more $ but he told the front office no

Clown. He could've been part of the 1 seed in the AFC right now.

Ask him to wear the same color of shorts as the rest of his teammates for one.

That is unforgiveable, I can see where BA is coming from.

Willing to pay me 125 million AND make me wear specific shorts. The nerve of some teams.

If you paid me $125m I would literally wear anything you asked me to. Anything!!

Honest question - What is it about WR that makes them the biggest divas and headcases??? I'm sure people will tell me it's not only WR, but seriously.
Rice - even early in his years he acted the diva sometimes with contract disputes
TO - astounding receiver, and astounding headcase
Randy Moss - enough said
---fast forward--
Antonio Bryant - wow, complete blow-out, even with Brady trying to work with him
George Pickens - even with his current performance, Cowboys are probably leery to sign a long term deal.
And the list goes on and on.

You shouldn't say anything derogatory about Jerry Rice. He's literally one of the greatest football players ever and no one worked harder or committed more of himself for this team. Ain't nothing diva about the brick catcher turned GOAT WR at all

That said I get your point about WR the position which is extremely dependent on the play calling the QB the OL. They don't get to make plays unless they have a TON of willing collaborators and to me that can breed a bit of insecurity. They literally have to be selfish and advocate for themselves to get touches and I think this fosters this type of behavior

Yea I've got to admit for that kind of money I'd wear a dress from time to time
This is up there with Albert Haynesworth, at least he was on the field It is truly baffling, you're on a team that is in contention every year, you're the #1 wr coming off an all pro season with Purdy feeding you the ball… Yet he is trying everything in his power including throwing away a 100 million dollars to leave.

At least Antonio Brown secured his bag, only blunder I can think of at this magnitude is Josh Gordon

Lol true I didn't think of that. Has not made the best decisions lol
Buddy is gonna look back at this and be like WTF was I doing. Losing $27M, leaving a bad taste in SF (and across the league), and losing out on a chance to help a 9-4 team do something.

Pretty stupid situation across the board
These teams are always full of guys with big egos. It's up to the FO to keep these guys happy. We're a better team with a healthy Aiyuk on the field, so it's in the best interest of the team for the FO to work things out.
