WE saw useless he was in the Super Bowl.. Shanny did not even use him.. so if our HC isn't gonna be aware that YUCK is playing, then why pay the guy more that 25?

He was wide open on 2 plays but the ball didn't get thrown to him. The two biggest plays of the game. The 3rd and 4 with under 2 minutes to play in the game that would have likely sealed the game for the Niners. But Brock went to Jennings instead and the ball got tipped. Aiyuk was open by like 7-8 yards. Then there was the play in OT where he was open in the endzone but Jones blew up the blame and Brock targetted Jennings again but due to the pressure it was not completed. And even with that he did have 49 yards.

So the Steelers offer was worse than was reported. Why would we take this, and why would Aiyuk go there for less than $28M.

Time for Aiyuk to sign and get his reps in.

The Steelers latest trade offer to the 49ers included a 2nd and some potential lower picks but did not include any players, per @gerrydulac

This is also why I don't understand why it was reported that we had a trade in place with Pitt. Also why would SF agree to a trade while still trying to sign BA, it takes away any leverage they have with BA

Yeah doesn't make a whole lot of sense. We need to just tell the Steelers to F off. A 2nd rd pick + a lower rd pick or 2 is terrible compensation.

We would get a 3rd round comp. if we just happen to not franchise tag him and he leaves in FA next year.
