In my opinion, he divided people more and that's a complete failure. I'm not 100% sure on his intentions.

Can we please halt any and all Kaepernick talk in this thread? We were almost to superbowl Sunday people, why ruin it with something that has been beaten to death more than the green bay defense?

To me mahomes is Aaron rodgers. Same type of QB.

Obviously he has more weapons and their offense is probably close to that 2010/11 packers offense. We saw what that giants team did to them in 2011.

I think we need them to settle for field goals and get a couple turnovers.

I think this game comes down to the 49ers ability to keep scoring. KC will get their points. The 49ers need to put out their finest offensive display of the season. I think if they can hit 40, they win. There can't be wasted drives or dumb turnovers, everytime they have an opportunity to score they need to get it into the endzone and keep attacking and wearing that defense down. I'm confident that Shanahan will be busting out his full bag of tricks for this one, hopefully that is enough to counteract Mahomes and his rocket arm throwing to the 4x100 relay team they have at WR.

This. Take it to the Parking Lot Kaepernick thread.
It's reverse jinx time:

Chiefs 69
Niners 2
The first million dollar bet was placed yesterday on the 49ers. Most of the big bets and professional gamblers are taking the Niners. The Sporting News writers predictions. 5 writers took the Niners 2 writers took the Chiefs.

Okay here's my prediction

Both teams will score on their opening drives. I believe SF will be able to move the ball up and down the field (running and passing). I got Jimmy G going for 270 yards 2 TDs and a honey badger INT. I think SF will put up 160 yards on the ground with 2 TDs. Toss in a Gould FG.

Mahomes will be able to move the ball BUT I think it will be from within the pocket and I don't think it will be huge chunk yards. He will have around 300+ yards an 2 TDs. Their running game is nowhere to be found, but they will be used in the passing game. I got Williams pushing one in near the GL. and I'm giving them two FGs.

I also see SF getting pressure on Mahomes for one pick (one of the S/LBers get it) and our DL will get 3 sacks. Saleh will mix up coverages and the stunt game will be working on those IOLs. I see someone on KC fumbling the ball as well. SF wins the TO battle 2 to 1.

Ultimately SFs running game controls the clock and the fact that SF doesn't give up big chunk plays leaves KC frustrated.

Final score.....

SF 31 KC 27

Super Bowl champs

Just the mere fact that we're making Superbowl predictions is still surreal to me.

For real! Super proud of this squad

According to actionnetwork.com, McIngvale has been anti-Chiefs throughout this postseason and it's cost him dearly.

The site said that two weeks ago he bet $2 million on Tennessee to beat Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game, doing so a week after he wagered $1 million that the Chiefs would lose to the Houston Texans in the divisional round.

That million dollar bet was made by Mattress Mack. That's more of a hedge for what he does with his business. He routinely runs HUGE promos and backs it up with "buy by this date...if this team wins...we will refund your purchase price." With the Super Bowl, he's refunding anyone that buys a Tempurpedic mattress set priced $3,000 or more.

Mattresses have HUGE margins. That $3K set more than likely has a wholesale price of less than $2K. Mack wins either way - personal tax write-off if Chiefs win or MORE sales and profits WHEN the Niners win.

Because of one run last week? That's some crazy recency bias right there.

Didn't he average about the same rush yards per game as Rodgers? He runs 4.8. Literally everybody we have on defense runs that or faster.

Yeah it's a silly statement. I hope they plan on making him a runner. Our LBers aren't gonna play patty cake with him like the titans did on that run.

For me it's more about him being mobile behind the line of scrimmage and extending plays. SF needs to negate those explosive plays as much as possible.

Yup you're right. I regret even replying to that.

I thought he placed a $500K bet on SF?

Never mind he put down a million.

My google sources and Houston area friends said $1MM.

Looks like he's only refunding 50% back if Niners win...lol...nice.

Holy s**t it's friday and it's getting close as s**t, so much hype right now, everyone at work is all Chief'ed up in their gear and I'm just walking around laughing at these fools.

People are acting like the Niners have no chance at all and are saying how happy they are for Andy Reid.

The heartbreak is going to be monumental!!!
