Im gonna call you out on this one. :) I forecasted with the Air Force for 6 years up there at Lewis. Before it became Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord. We were pretty accurate, 97% tracking rate for our base and all operational weather plans. We knew what was going to happen in our little corner of the Sound.

Ill give it to you that most of the civilian forecasters up there aren't that great. They also forecast for a much wider area and have to cover a lot of square miles in a terrain that changes drastically. Not an easy thing to do. Yeah, Im sticking up for my weather peeps.

You just don't hear it enough. Kap was horrible by the time he left. I will never forget Kurt Warner talking about how he offered to work with kap and his classroom work. AND......kap wasn't interested. He just wanted to work out. That says all you need to know about the guy and why he still doesn't have a job. It's not because of his social justice stance. It's because he sucks.

It has nothing to do with the Seahawks game but that should be corrected. Kap had 16 TDs and 4 Interceptions. Look where that ratio belongs in today's NFL. He had a 400 yard game in Miami und a 500 yard game in new Orleans. He lost both. That team was horrible. The best receiver were Kerley and Torrey with 3 TDs, Drop McDonald had his best season with 5. The names of Kaepernicks Weapons were Chris Harper, Rod Streater, Burbridge, Quinton Patton and DeAndre Smelter. None of them is the NFL right now. There weren't many QBs who could have done better. Kap was the best sacked QB and had the s**ttiest Oline in pro football.

There isnt a QB past or present that could have led that team to anymore than 5 or 6 wins. The roster AND the coach were tragic. Blaming only Kap for the teams failures is turning a blind eye. Kap has 85 total tds and 30 ints in his career. A career passer rating better than some hall of famers (Brett Favre, etc). He went through some struggles just like every other QB does woopty doo. Some people just dont like the guy period but his numbers dont support that of a "horrible" QB.

Haha. Yeah, born and raised up there. I was going to say, your area is pretty stable. But as you know, there's 100 different microclimates up there. Like a dream within a dream within a dream. You could look out your front window and see sun. Back yard torrential downpour. I even saw it snow once on a sunny day with no clouds. No joke...it was sunny. Haha.

Way too much discussion on Kaepernick in this thread lol.

Knowing that the Hawks are banged up makes me feel better, Clowney isn't going to have the same kind of game he had last time and Kittle is probably going to have a big game.

Gonna be a stressful game though, Seahawks always play us tough.

I like that Marshawn Lynch is taking away all the spotlight from the 49ers. He's an insignificant factor to this game and I would hope would motivate the niners a bit more.

I have a better feeling going into this game than any game up there in recent years.
1. The Seahawks have more players beat up than we do on both sides of the ball.
2. We are starting to get some of our guys back.
3. The Seahawks have lost 3 games at home this year so maybe that home field mojo is wearing off.
4. Kittle is looking to have a big game after missing the first one.
5. We're a better team this year. The hawks have squeaked by in many of their games. The point differential isn't even close.

If we can't win up there this year I don't know when we ever will.

Just one more perfect layer of detestable garbage to throw over the heap that is the Seahawks.

They stand in the way, not as a barrier but rather an annoyance. Frustrating part is anything can happen.

Just Go Niners, put the cesspool of misery in its place.

All the hype with Marshawn Lynch signing and being Beast-mode after being away from the game for over a year is a dream in Pete's head. The quick instincts and cuts at the line of scrimmage, will they be there? He was a shell of himself with the Raiders, can he transform to what he once was? The odds are heavily stacked against him. I'm hoping his carries result in throwaway downs and plenty of 2nd and 3rd downs with 8 or 9 to go.

For the Niners, the GB, NO, and Vikings games are irrelevant. If they win, they're #1 and if they lose, they're #5.

For the Seahawks, the GB and NO games matter, and they'll be completed before kickoff. By the time the Niners-Seahawks game kicks off, the rest of the NFC will be determined. If the big favorites GB and NO both win, which they're favored by 10+ each, then SEA will essentially be playing for the right to host the Vikings on wild card weekend vs going to PHI/DAL. That isn't really a major difference, at least Vegas would have SEA favored in either game. Then it's road games from then on.

But if either NO or GB loses, then SEA would be playing for a bye and home field in the divisional round.

The point is that SEA's motivation for this game could be very different depending on the earlier outcomes.

Seattle want s nothing more than to destroy the 49ers. Also, going from 5 to 3 is huge in case the Seahawks somehowe make it to the nfc championship game along with the 4,5,6 seed, they would host.

Lmao @ people being worried about marshawn lynch. In the games that we have struggled, it's been against mobile QBs. I'm pretty sure Pete Carrol knows this. He's going to lne up Lynch and try to kill us on play action. Thats why it doesn't matter if he's not in great shape. PC just needs us to key on Lynch so Willow can kill us on bootlegs and misdirection plays.
Whatever direction the ball starts out going, we need to just play the opposite.
