MASSIVE upgrade for the run game.

Just need to do better against the run. Carson has been tearing it up and our run D hasn't been good. Shore up the Run D and force Wilson into pressure and through the air.

our run D has been better than avg according to the rankings (14th overall). I actually think Greenlaw is a upgrade to Kwon in the run game (greenlaw has zero missed tackles this yr).

One big matchup is gonna be K Williams vs lockett.
I have a friend up here in Eugene that is the GM of the local FOX station. Every Sunday he has to chose which team to show here, Seattle or SF. Whichever one he chooses he gets angry phone calls from the other team's fans. I saw him this morning and he's loving this. No calls tonight he said. I just get to enjoy the game.

Staley will be an upgrade for sure. If McGlinchey turns our to be a run upgrade over Brunskill, it will be awesome. Brunskill was very good in the run game. His ability to hit the correct opponent at the second level was terrific. I am tempted to say that if McGlinchey plays as well as Brunskill has, the run game will be trucking.

I know I have been a big supporter of Brunskill in the OL thread, but the kid has earned it. IMO, he will be the starter at RG next year.

I'd actually put Mosley on Lockett and Witherspoon on Gordon.

KW on Lockett in the slot. Witherspoon on him if it's on the outside. Otherwise, put Spoon on Metcalf and Sherman on Gordon.

I was thinking that as well. Kyle could just be messing with Pete Carroll's head and ruining his play calling. I would not be surprised at all if Kyle is just foxing. We will know in the next hour or two what the truth is if Kittle is named inactive. If he isn't named as inactive Kyle might not start him but bring him on at some pivotal point in the game to keep the Toots running around after their tails
So no official word on Kittle yet?

Really going down to the wire.

Just a bit further North and there is no choice.

It's Seattle every damn time.

We're going to see lots of run blitzes early on from the Seahawks defense. Getting Mcglinchey and Juice back helps but the Hawks are gonna want to see if Jimmy can beat them. It will be on the receivers to get open vs. man coverage and find soft spots in zone and Jimmy will find them.

I honestly think Brunskill has been better in pass blocking than in run blocking this year. In fact, he's been a better pass blocker than McGlinchey (who had a rough game against the Steelers), but McG has been better in the run game.

Yeah I was surprised how good Brunskill turned out to be. I thought the team had driven off a cliff when McGlinchey got injured. I really didn't see the depth in the OLine earlier this year with the untried talent. Glad I was wrong
