School Skule some more for sure...look at secondary with Spoon injured (hopefully he can be 100% after the bye). STUDY FILM!

Skule held up pretty well in tbe first half when the heat was really on. Seems like he got fatigued and started hugging/holding on to guys more as the second half went on.

Any chance the 49ers are gonna be ranked higher than the Seahawks in power ranking?

Yeah, that could've been worse if he was total garbage, but I thought he was ok for his first start against a real good front 7 and legit D altogether. He's a quick learner but his physicality was always a question in here.

They won't though.

They will probably keep the Eagles ahead of them.

Trent Taylor is certainly missed for those shorter conversion plays with how automatic (when healthy) he was in those situations. Would of taken away allot of the stress after so many mistakes.

Don't forget that Steelers were in shotgun the entire game. I'm not sure I saw their qb under center once which says a lot about our D Line. They were scared and it showed... A win is a win and I will take it. Thought Jimmy G looked great and took a ton of hits and kept on ticking. We got the bye week up next and Hurd and Coleman coming back. We will be fine as this was a good experience for our young team. When was the last time you could say we started 3-0??? It was 1998 btw... Be humble and take the win. Nobody got badly hurt as Spoon said he didn't think it was major. Go 49ers!

IIRC it's the same under Big Ben. He prefers working out of the shotgun.
