Great first step would be not allowing the edge rusher to go untouched, right in the face of our newly recovered QB
LMAO. Yup. But Jimmy didn't set his feet. No s**t. I wouldn't either.

Good news for the #49ers depleted offensive line: guards Mike Person (foot) and Joshua Garnett (dislocated finger) are both practicing.

Also back, DE Ronald Blair (groin), TE Levine Toilolo (shoulder), DT DJ Jones (knee) and DB Antone Exum Jr. (knee).

#49ers G Mike Person is back at practice after he was sidelined with foot injury; he will be a full participant.

The following were on the field at the start of #49ers practice today:
— Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) August 21, 2019
Garnett
Person
D. Moore
D.J. Jones
Blair
Reed
Ward
Exum
Toilolo
Not practicing today ...

Kittle
Tartt
Colbert
Ford
Lee
J. Taylor
T. Taylor
Bosa
Verrett
McKinnon
Kittle went thru an extensive workout Monday in Denver. Teams appears to be using an abundance of caution as far as his calf strain.
Also, WR Jalen Hurd was in uniform but didn't seem to be practicing. Shanahan on Tuesday said Hurd has been dealing with a tight back recently.

It seems likely that they will keep those guys out for the entire preseason, especially since Kittle is the only one healthy enough to play right now.
