After much discussion about tackling during training camp, the tackling looked quite good tonight. No obvious misses that I can recall. Guys were wrapping up and holding on. Improvement.

Yea, although Greenlaw had some bad lapses in coverage early on, he looks like a real good tackler. I don't remember any aggregious missed tackles from anyone.
Overall, I don't think you can really take much from this game. The rookie WRs had a few nice moments. I don't think anyone moved up or down the depth chart based on what happened tonight. Shanahan himself has admitted that the staff and himself rely much more heavily on the practice performances than the preseason games when evaluating players on the roster.

the wide receivers moved up because Trent Taylor got injured, and probably out for 6+ weeks.. He'll be missing the road trip to Tampa and Cincinnati for sure.

Taylor and KS both think he'll be ready for week 1.

Yea, but that didn't happen during the game. That's just when we found out about it.

Coleman being out for the season also changes things as well. I was referring to performance based changes only.

He had less than 3 yards per rush.

Package CJ and Richie James to Tampa. CJ isn't great but he's better than Blaine Gabbert. Bucs also don't have a real slot guy.

A conditional 7th in the 2022 draft.
