Agreed, and I'd rather have McKivitz as backup LT.
I guess McKivitz starting at LT for week 18 must win does put some extra value to his case for being the first backup. Both guys (Skule and McKivitz) have starting experience. I actually think McKivitz could be starting at one of the G spots (or even RT). Skule seems like a dedicated LT.

Its been some time since we've seen Skule play but I think McKivitz has more of a future. Even if all he ever is is a backup, I have him over Skule.

I don't see Skule or McKivitz making the roster...between Zakelj, Jaylon Moore, Burford, Brunskill, et al, I think we'll see a significant change in the OL. Adding in Poe and West, I see a new era coming.

We have one elite O-linemen and a bunch a guys. It'll be the most interesting camp battle for sure.

I agree.
This is one talented bunch of players. To me, it will be a good sign, if McKivitz or Skule can't make the 53 man roster. It means the OLine talent has definitely been upgraded. Now they will just need experience to get even better.

He's apparently first backup begins McGlinchey, who we hope will be ready for camp. Seems like a good chance he makes the roster.
