Players in MLB would kill to average .500.
He wasn't a full time starter at Ohio State until last year. He only had like 700 snaps in college.

700 is a lot of snaps, considering college football averages around 70 offensive snaps per game.
Let's say he plays around 3/4 of the snaps.So..
700/(70*.75) = 13.33333 full games played.
That's one full college season and some.
Not bad
