I can understand not knowing what their assignments are. I struggle with it a lot, there are just too many moving parts.

But i do not believe i have ever said,(player) blew his assignment so confidently and been so wrong.

However a huge tell is he was constantly taking the RB and was never seen being chewed out or pointed at for it.

I can't help but feel like we haven't given him a truly adequate complete d line to work with for a few years either. Teams have been able to key in on him and not have to worry about anyone else getting home.

I think he is great, but he had twice as many hits in his career year than in 2024. He hasn't been the same and it is probably been injuries. If he has a monster yesr this year, it may be due to the cleanup that was done with the ACL procedure and a better surrounding cast rather than the contract year thing.

That's a lot of money to tie up in an edge rusher coming off his 3rd ACL surgery. He's the only high profile edge rusher that's had that many. Soone ror later they may staert to take their toll on him. A step slower. A little less agility.. It doesn't take much in the NFL to cause a drop-off in performance.

He's an awesome DE. Injuries is the only concerning issue. He's been a DROY and DPOY, which speaks volumes. He just needs to stay healthy
