I really don't think Deebo is going anywhere. They'll make it work....they HAVE to make it work. For jokes and giggles I was watching highlights of the top receivers available in the draft and yes there is some talent. In particular I liked the receiver out of Arkansas Treyon Burks but he looks raw. We need to find a way to keep our superstars. Rams sure can figure out how to do it AND add talent, so we need to figure out how to pull this off as well.

Dump Jimmy for gods sake, do some restructuring....whatever it takes. Pay the man and let's end this drama. Maybe it takes duct tapping Paraag and putting him in the closet LOL but make it happen!!!!
Players come and go easily now days. you think the fans thought Hill, Adams, Watson, sane steelers A.Brown, Jerry Rice Etc players would be gone ? No

it happens and it's not the end of the world if it does

Niners don't have to do anything really.

Deebo is on a basic rookie contract for at least two more seasons. Niners can do nothing this year and franchise tag him next if they really wanted to.

Deebo would have to get on a beach cruiser and rob foos if he wants that chedda' cheese by sitting out , nah sahn homeslice?

If he doesn't play I believe he's a restricted free agent still, no tag necessary
So excited to watch Deebo tear s**t up in the intermediate and short routes when defenses starts backing up to account for Lance and Aiyuk's deep ball game. LFG!!

Jimmy G and Deebo for Brian burns and 2 1st round picks. I want to keep deebo but he can't demand 25 per year for 1 amazing year.

No way in hell is Carolina doing this trade. Even if it's for 2023 and 2024 1sts.

We would be lucky to get Burns and a future 2nd.

I still think some form of Jimmy + Deebo for DJ Moore is the way to go. Balance with picks/Darnold's contract accordingly. I don't think Burns is touchable.

Also, Sitting out would be his agents advice. So his agent would be covering his expenses.. so no need to rob foos

Too busy carrying this team on it
If Deebo wants to leave regardless of what the 49ers offer i see the 49ers have 3 options:

1. Offer him a deal he just cant refuse which will be the largest non QB contract in league history. Everything has a price so even if he wants to leave he can be bought. It can be done but there wont be a lot of money for other players such as Bosa and we all know Bosa is going to be asking for a huge deal too. Thankfully Bosa isn't acting this way. If i were Lynch i'd send Bosa and his agent a Thank You card right now.

2. Let him play out his contract, tag him the next year and let him walk in 2024. This would be a hardline stance but the 49ers have the right. You'd get him for 2 years and get a comp pick when he walks. This is our best option and maybe next year he changes his mind and signs an extension or we trade him at some point in the next 2 years.

3. Trade him now. Offense would take a step back for sure but we'd get the most value for him today.

I hope him and his agent are just playing hardball and he doesn't actually want to leave the 49ers regardless of what they offer. I like option 2 the best but you are only kicking the can down the road and dealing with the issue later on. Only way i would go with 3 is if some team offers a deal you can't refuse.

Don't forget option 2b with the Packers approach to Adams...play out his contract this year and then tag and trade next year.

so basically at the time of this video, Deebo had not been offered a deal & AJ was offered $19M and Tenn doesn't want to go past $20M

that was pretty funny

9ers not trading deebo. It would be dumb AF for 9ers to trade deebo when they have to compete with Rams and Trey needs weapons going forward. Draft picks can easily bust even 1st rounders and many don't contribute in their 1st two years especially most WRs, useless unless you are rebuilding and/or have no choice as in no salary cap space like GB and KC.

We could let him play out this year, then tag him x2 before trading him at the beginning of 2024 off-season I believe?. Still hopeful we're able to get a deal done though.
