Same kid ended up getting to take a pic with Deebo and a signed pic

What that video didn't show was Deebo having to tell the parent no multiple times. The dad made his son go try to get a signature 5xs. Then the dad recorded what he wanted to record.

Typical SM outrage with zero context to the situation.

I agree this is a non story. But this is also an L for Deebo. There is no legal or business benefit to him NOT signing personal items. In no way is Deebo better off by not signing personal items at a kids camp.

Deebo has been getting bad advice all off-season. Love him as a player - hope he's here for a long time - but there's just a lot of completely avoidable drama. It's just part of the Deebo experience.

You must have not seen the letter that went out to everyone prior to the event. This is not a L for Deebo lol

And the video doesn't show that John Lynch had put Deebos 5 year extension on that ball and was trying to get Deebo the same way Dwight got Phyllis. Well played Deebo well played

I know he communicated it. It's still a bad look. Bad advice.

Dude, he took a pic with the same kid and signed it (like he did it for everyone)…this was a camp for kids in his home town to play football, not a signingfest for 400 kids.

This is a bad look for the parent that forced his kid to do it 5xs (after being told no every time) and then trying to record only what he wanted to shame a player & go viral.

People think they're entitled to whatever and when they don't get it, they try to play the victim…this dad was using his kid which is even more ridiculous.

This. Sadly there's a lot of POS parents like this out there who will use their kids to try and make money. Most pro players don't sign stuff for adults bc they know most are doing it just so they can sell it.

It's ridiculous that people actually think Deebo is in the wrong here. You can't sign one kids ball after the other 399 kids have been told it's not allowed.

parents can be asses and this one was just that. Using his son and making him feel like crap.
lmao grifter Dad looking to flip autographs on eBay sends his son to get Deebo'd
