Blame Elway for thinking he could make a playoff run with Case Keenum.

Blame Sebass for the missed PAT and weak effort on the ensuing KO. Make those 2 plays and perhaps Seattle wins in regulation.

It's largely luck.

Exactly.

So your mad because we won

So you are pissed we won games and hurt or our draft position for a player that may or may not help??? I've said it before I will say it again people that want to lose are losers. You make zero sense and probably were never good at sports. The whole point of playing is to win. We play are young guys and win and you cry. I'm done in here. All you people do is b***h. You cry but dont give solutions and love to say I told you so.

I think we will be pretty good next year so I will come back then and say I told you so. Ugh. The amount of negativity is insane. You escape your negative realities by being negative??? What sense does that make. Have a different opinion fine great I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the posters in here who cry just to cry. Its pathetic. I feel sorry for you. Peace.

One more thing to the idiots who say the last two wins were morale victories. No morons they were actual victories. Clueless.

the way I see it, the football Gods are just helping us on making a mistake from drafting NICKIE first overall ... and I bet somewhere up there, Bill Walsh had made that deal !!

Yeah I could see how caring about the future of your favorite team might translate to poor athleticism.

I wouldn't call having a legit chance to win until the final minute against the likely #2 seed in the NFC 'falling back to earth...' but that's just me.

You sound sour.

Yeah. If we don't get the first overall pick we'll 100% definitely be screwed for the next 15 years.

Some of you are very miserable fans, I hope you guys aren't like this outside of the Internet

2-14 = losing culture
4-12 = winning culture

They need to win for home field. We're going to get destroyed.

First of all, thats Mr Idiot to you.

Secondly I said our 4 wins seem less enjoyable after a loss. Didn't mean the wins were moral victories but the excitement fades fast in multiple seasons stuck in a perpetual losing loop. Going toe to toe with a division champ and coming up a play short is a moral victory. Maybe we can win the asterisks bowl for teams with plays falling short of a victory?
Of course I don't expect a win every game but averaging one win in every 4 games is not enjoyable for me. I admit I'm still living in the past where we were almost guaranteed a long season with a trip to the playoffs every year. They don't have to be hoisting the Lombardi or else for me to be a fan but accepting the season is a loss 1/2 way through is tough, injuries or not.

Thirdly I never mentioned draft position. A loss hurts more than a move up the draft spot satisfies and I don't follow college ball anymore so I couldn't tell you who is draft eligible and don't care who we draft until he's on the field wearing red and gold

Fourth I did play sports. After all was said and done, a losing season felt like a losing season, and a winning season was the only thing that felt like a winning season. A win faded fast when you racked up a string of losses afterwards.

But hey, enjoy the 4 win championship parade around your living room this year, I'll deal with how I feel about the seasons results in my own way.

eff that. after Jimmy went down I already started to go through the 5 stages and come to terms with the seeing being done. so any losses after that didnt hurt. kinda just laughed. hoped for a high pick. but those wins vs. seattle and denver were worth it. good for a young team.
