Let's talk defensive backs

Outside of Richard Sherman our defensive backs look mediocre at best. Witherspoon was awful yesterday and I haven't seen anything from Tartt or Colbert to make me think they're anything but a liability in coverage.
Dont forget tackling. Cant tackle either.
This is what an anemic pass rush does to you. Now our secondary looks exposed

This is going to be a severe weakness against Midget 1 and 2 in the NFC West if our DLinemen cant get to these QB's. Additionally Murray and Wilson's mobility will buy the WR's time to maneuver and get behind our DB's like in the super bowl. I think we have to aggressively blitz more against Seattle and Arizona to even things up a bit.

yeah, that 3rd and 15 conversion really hurt. I'm hoping if we're in the thick of the 2020 playoff race, and it's approaching the trade deadline -- maybe they trade for a all pro DB (sort of like the emanuel sanders trade) late in the season, but for the defensive side. Otherwise, playing against any mobile QB in the playoffs is going to negate our pass rush -- like KC did, once our DLinemen got tired.
