How many TD's will Jimmy G throw this season?

Based on his performance last year (7 TDs and 5 Ints) in 6 games, the figure would be 18 to 19 TDs and 13 Ints. Assuming improvement , let's say 25 TDs and 10 Ints.

By that same logic, he should pass for over 4900 yards but that's probably not going to happen.
He's gonna have a lot of ints. That's not intended as a sleight against him, it's just likely based on his style. He likes to force balls into small windows and he doesn't have any real WRs that will fight for the ball, so its seems probable that he'll throw somewhere around 15-30 ints. So around 20-25 TDs and
15-30 ints, but also probably 4500+ yards.

Why not? It seems possible. We don't have a running game and our RBs are more suited to be pass catchers than runners. Our defense likely is going to be average to below average probably, so we'll need to throw a lot. JG doesn't mind making risky, I'll-advised throws. Together, these factors add up to a lot of passing yards probably (though maybe not a lot of points or wins)

30 INTs? WTF? That hasn't happened in 30 years...
37 TDs 10 INTs 5,000 pass yards

Around 20-25. No RZ threats, all TD passes will come from outside of the RZ (even though JG struggled with deep passes, these will be dependent on YAC). Those that do come in the RZ will be rare and will likely come off broken plays.

Beathard will have 5 TD passes filling in due to Shanalynch getting JG injured (from neglecting the offensive line).

How many days into FA and a draft still to come plus we upgraded at a critical position in Shannys offense. Lulz dude, just lulz.

I demand to have more than 20 spots on my ignored list instead of dealing with people I'm questioning if theyre looking for attention or are they really that foolish. Regardless, posts like that irritate me on a 49er fan forum. This isn't reddit.

You guys act like I'm trashing JG, but 20-25 TDs isn't bad for a QBs first year as a starter, especially since he doesn't have any real reliable weapons in the RZ.

I don't like the fact that you said Lynch and Shanny will get Jimmy injured... Did packers get Rodgers injured when Anthony Barr fell on him causing him to miss most of the season?

Project stats in your opinion all you want, IMO that was low key un called for. Humble up and have a lil optimism my dude... Doesn't mean if you're optimistic you don't prepare for the worst. Anyways, moving on. Just needed to throw my .02 cents in.

Hope you understand.....

That's OUR quarterback

Ignore him guys. He's only been here a short while and mostly just posts seemingly friendly but always ends up saying something negative about JG. Hard to take anyone seriously that projects such a wide result as 15-30 INTs. It's like saying a QB will throw between 3000 and 4500 yards.

I agree JG will probably force some throws. He'll learn not to. He probably will approach 15 INTs but that also comes with a lot of big time throws. His accuracy is great an forcing throws leads to big plays one way or the other. 30 TDs is a median projection for him especially considering how much KS likes to throw,

Too early to tell. Probably low 20s. We kicked a lot of fgs with jimmy. No red zone monster to change it. If our schedule turns patsy maybe a little more.

Last two games we got multiple td's Jimmy G was still learning the offense. He will be in full command of the offense this year
40+
The fact we even have this thread and the range of TDs goes to high 30s indicates a lot of great things to come.

We NEVER had such threads for Smith, Kap, etc.....even early 2013 coming off the SB, when guys like me foolishly drafted CK into FF.

1st Bullet:
If today were the last game of the 2018 Pre-Season, and the O Line were set with it's present personnel … then your concern(s)
IMO would be widely accepted. Seeing as we are 5 months (+/- a few days) away), I'd venture to state that you're over reacting.

Kyle is the only person that knows, and clearly sees his vision for the team … which he shares with Lynch and Peters.
They in-turn, then do their best to get the player he needs/wants … not the player(s) we the fans wish them to get.

2nd Bullet:
Maybe you missed a few game last season, once Jimmy, took over … or maybe, you went to the fridge for a "cold one" !?
Either way, I saw several players fight for possession of the ball … namely one, diminutive Marquise Goodwin.
Then there's this player [we have at WR] who didn't play with Jimmy G, due to injury. He's scheduled to return to form,
who's known as a possession receiver … kinda' like a mini Anquan Bolden, He goes by the name of Pierre Garçon.

What round should I draft Jimmy G this year?

My guess is 33.

I'm thinking between 30-35, so I'm gonna go the safe bet and meet in the middle.
Rumor is for every TD his throws this season he'll screw a different chick
