Considering the 49ers could have gone 10-6 this past season had Jimmy G been QB from game one, it's very fair to say the last 5 games were indicative of a hype-worthy team.
Just count THAT as the coming out of nowhere and sneaking up on the league part.

Personally, i don't see anything wrong with being enthusiastic about the future of your team when there seems to be very positive moves being made to create competition and put a winning team on the field in it's league (NFL). Continue to hype your team because it becomes infectious and actually contributes to the team becoming an extension of the fans. You like!!!
