AA's fate is on where they see Solly. If they keep him at Leo him and Douzable will continue to anchor the 5 tech. Maybe even long term. If they bring in a Leo and move Solly to 5 tech he's toast. Saleh has shown to want to play big. I'm not sure if we've seen the last of AA.
Ward has 1 more year to put something together either at safety or slot corner but I doubt we extend him once his rookie deal is up.
Garnett has time to prove himself.
Hyde is a toss up. Good back but backs are easily replaceable.

AA, he just needs to be gone, one of the biggest busts in our history.

Hyde needs to go as well. don't think he shows up enough and doesn't play with a high motor. wouldn't give him the 4-5 year contract he wants, and i don't think there's other teams that will either. interesting to see what's going to happen to him.

Simply not true about AA he has been disappointing but he's not Balmer, Woods, etc..

Ward's a valuable DB...but I see Colbert as our starting FS once he returns. Adrian's got the toughness, size, strength and speed the position requires. Jimmy's a jack-of-all-trades DB and every DC loves those kind of players.

Garnett should be ready to go after this season...he'll be healthy and will have a decent grasp of Shanahan's offense before he even takes the field. Any thoughts about trading him are premature, IMHO. He deserves a chance to win the LG position, which I'm pretty confident he'll do.

Hyde's proven his worth in a number of ways...it wouldn't surprise me if they're not already beginning negotiations to extend his contract. He should be the top priority among the players Coach wants to keep.

Armstead was playing well? What do you consider "playing well"?

Based on Lynch's brief history, is expect nearly all of them to be gone when contract is up

I don't think he has much interest in keeping Baalke players

I don't think Lynch has a grudge against a player just because they were Baalke draft picks. It's just that Baalke picked a lot of players that sucked,and some don't fit into the new schemes on offense and defense.

Hyde re-sign! We have good rbs on our practice squad and team. Breida, williams, Mchnichols. But none of those guys are the answer.

Absolutely, creating more holes is the answer to improving, just look how well that strategy has worked since 2013.

Garnett - We'll see what he does next year. All I know about him is that he beat out Zane Beadles in camp, which doesn't tell me much. I'll give him one more year to try and beat out Tomilnson and Fusco, plus whoever else we bring to help the OL. If he's the odd man out, move on. Try him out at Center too. Make use of that Stanford education....

Armstead - Bust. He's a backup DT for Buckner. Just keep him on the bench and rotate him in if Buckner needs a break I guess . Stop playing him at LEO. The Saleh experiment was a huge failure.

Ward - Can't stay healthy. He's played well, but not well enough that I'd separate him from Colbert or Tartt, surprisingly. I'd keep him for next year, and let him walk in free agency.

Hyde - I think this is the one guy they should consider extending. But I know how much Kyle Shanahan loves to run outside zone. I don't think Hyde is a perfect fit for what Shanahan wants to do. But he's still one of the few talented players on the team.
