After being a lifelong 49er fan witnessing 5 Super Bowls I feel the accountability issue is being swept under the rug. Is it too much to ask for one two three wins this year? I feel the six- your contract that was given to the new regime is being abused. As fans we are being told that they know better! hold your seats! the mess that we're in right now will get better one second round draft pick at a time. Excellence comes from Excellence! not being lucky!

I would think that someone that saw the "good old days" would be able to remember how that began. It was not much different than this mess. Sorry but this rebuild is going to take time.

How about holding the referees accountable? There's your 2-3 wins right there. You can't say s**t about the referees or you get fined and the league doesn't do s**t about correcting all the bad calls. We need to do like what they do down in South America. When a referee blows a game, the fans hunt him down and beat the living s**t out of him.

You're being ridiculous. Lynch and Shanahan have been nothing but straightforward and honest. They have done everything to begin rebuilding a franchise that has been crumbling for years. Have some faith and relax--if in two to three years you don't see the improvement expected, then you can start griping.

Tartt looks pretty good; they did lose 2nd round picks for Foster and Garnett so no selections those years.

Paying a 6 year contract to a coach and GM is accountability. Sending a questionnaire asking if losing affects the "Fan Experience" is another matter. Use the Pittsburgh Steeler Organization as a template, just shut up and let the football people run the show. You would think that John and Jed would have learned something from Eddie D about winning.

This is dumb. You'd think people learned meaningless wins aren't a good thing in the long run. While I am a Solomon Thomas fan I'm sure our defense would look to be in better shape if we were able to draft Myles Garrett as a perfect fit at Leo.

Yet one stupid win last year ended that.
