A lot of you guys are funny. Did you not see the graph they put up about Bill Walsh's 1st season, he won 2 games. You did not hear what KS said about knowing what he was getting into and not signing a few FA's as Band-Aids and he wanted to build the team with young talent? Beathard is starting his 3rd game, he has a make shift line in front of him, he may not be the answer but he needs more games before you call for his first born in reparations. Hoyer was no better and has many more years experience, that's why Hoyer is a journeyman. BTW, a win or 2 this season is not going to magically fix all the weak spots the team has now. This team has many areas of need but oline is the biggest for offense. Whether you were a Kap fan or not, he had no time to throw 95% of snaps,neither did Gabbert or Hoyer or Beathard. Many of you guys have no patience. Forget going to the SB this year.haha This GM is 1000 % better than what we had before and the HC is better than the last 2 without a doubt. This team is on the right path and at the end of year 2 expect to see 6-7 wins and year 3 9-11 wins but this year expect losses and any win as a bonus. Anyway, what is the difference between 0-17 and 5-12, either way your team's record sucks plus you moved further down the draft board.
