The NFL doesn't grade on a curve though. If he is in there playing big boy football then he needs to step up and make those big boy throws or else the team will be looking for a new QB in the offseason.

He doesn't have to be perfect but he needs to show the ability to make those basic passes with some accuracy.

Agreed. Michigan had that problem until Harbaugh finaly pulled the plug with the true freshmen and looked good. Brandon Peters.

My point, it's either you have it or you don't. He needs to make those throws.
