I thought Robinson would be much better in man-coverage and thought Dumervil might become a serious threat again on the edge. He's got 3.5 sacks and leads the team and is on pace for double digit, but it's been feast or famine with him. He's either getting to the QB or not getting pressure at all.

This. I had us winning at least six games.

Still possible, but right now, I doubt it.

I had us at 6 too in the PYMWYMI thread, but it doesn't even look like they'll get there.
I said we were a 5 win team, talent wise but might steal a couple extra wins. I think I was about right as far as 5 win talent. We've been close enough and found ways to lose games and if we're 4-12 at the end of the year it'd show it was right about at that place.
-Didn't think Hoyer would be this inconsistent with his knowledge of this offense...he looks damn good on some throws but others leave you thinking how could he miss that

-Thought Robinson was really going to solidify himself as the team's top CB...so far, he's up and down (more down) and not just with his coverage - his tackling needs work

-Though they're not off to a bad start, I thought the DL would make more of an impact...maybe they will as they're mostly pretty young and as they play together more

-Thought Harold would give them more...so far, kind of a ghost out there

-Thought the team would have 1 or 2 wins by now

Agreed. I also think Kyle's a little more overmatched trying to be the OC as well as HC than he anticipated he'd be and that's affecting things to an extent. I'm torn between full-on tank and being annoyed they can't seem to get out of their own way. Knowing this team, they'll win just enough games at the end of the season to prevent us from getting a top QB in the draft.

- Was thinking 6-10, and had Ws marked down against the Rams and Colts. I'm okay with 4-12 though.
- Dontae Johnson would be playing better.
- Solly would be more impactful than he is as a pass rusher.
- ALynch would be good considering weight loss, and pending free agency.
I thought hoyer would be better than he has been. Not good, really. But better than he's been. After 5 games he's only had about 3 decent halves of football.

I think he will get much better as the season goes on. None of these receivers and QB's on offense have ever played with each other. Prior to the year, I was willing to give it till week 8 for them to start looking like they are on the same page on a more consistent basis. If not, and players are still making bonehead mistakes, then it's time to identify and discipline in terms of playing time.

Right now, we have too many heroes on the team.

I also thought Solomon would have more of an impact.
I thought Hoyer would be serviceable with his prior knowledge off the offense but he has been erratic at the least.

I Thought Robinson would show flashes of being a solid corner but he also has been erratic.

I thought Armstead and Lynch were going to pressure the QB alot more than they have. Its disappointing. I think Armstead will be traded in the offseason to get some draft capital for a pass rusher. Lynch is done imo.

I also didnt expect for the WR to drop so many balls.
Pegged our first win vs. Colts.

As a true fan we were undefeated before the season started!!! Lol
-Marquise Goodwin a fantasy football sleeper
-Hyde Beast'n it. Not completely his fault...OLine problems, but he has been missing assignments.
-Hoyer would be above average
-DLine will eat opposing teams OLine and smother their run run game
-We would score a little more than FG
I predicted 5 or 6 win season, it's still possible but not likely after going winless on the "easy part of the schedule" , thought we'd have at least 1 win by now, but didn't think we'd keep the games we're losing in as close as theyve been.

I thought Rashard Robinson would be the only bright spot from the CB position,

I was just about ready to give up on Jaquaski Tartt after 2016 and didn't expect much from him this year, but he's become one of our best players on defense. Him & Ward make an excellent combo

Also I didn't have much faith in Brain Hoyer to begin with but I thought maybe he'd be somewhat average in Shanahan's offense, certainly didn't think he'd be one of the worst QBs in the league .

I've been saying that since week 1.

Tartt is an awesome one. I couldn't even find a home for him and he has really stepped up despite learning 3 roles in this defense. I did not see that coming.
