Have to just enjoy other stuff in life during 49er football season. Like watching Seattle lose.

Couldn't watch the game. I take it my 3-4 win season was an accurate prediction?
Cannot expect hoyer to go in there and wow everybody. He is only here to install the offense

There are zero reasons for him to start at all. Is Kizer not starting for a terrible Browns team? What possible reason is Hoyer starting for other than to waste away games for no reason?

Well they say Hoyer wanted a pure pocket passer,,,,, That's what he got.... Everybody cant be Brady......... Hoyer stinks.... He look like an immobile Gabbert...jmo

The Seattle offensive line is as bad or worse than the 49ers. I don't think Wilson makes it through this season healthy. Hoyer actually had a statistically better day today than Wilson did.

Yup...EVERYONE needs to expect another egg next week. The niner isn't even good enough to probably move the ball against that SEA D.

Should I let my lil nephew kick me in the nuts several times for a couple of hours or just torture myself and watch the game....same diff

Wow, everybody? The guy stunk with a capital S. He's been playing this game for how long now? He already knows the offense and that was what he showed? Speaks volumes to Shanahan's offense.

All that hype and this is what we got. The media department did a great job on the reporters and analysts making them think we would be drastically improved. All those ticket sales, jersey and merchandise sales and it will quickly come back down to earth.

The reality is Baalke did a horrible job for years, we have a substandard line especially at the guard position, our WRs except for Garçon are undersized and inexperienced, and we have a backup QB servicing as a starter. It's going to take a few more years to get this right. I won't stop watching my team, but smh at anyone that thinks they're going 7-9 or .500

I'm still gonna watch each Sunday and I'm still gonna have hope for a win that day......but still.....this sucks!

That's the most accurate statement I have read in here.

I really want to hear what Lynch has to say and evaluate his teams performance. It's hard trust the team reporters because some guys are so overly optimistic they're either on medication or receiving checks from the 49ers organization. The negative beat reporters just want page clicks. We need to see O line improvement and consistent movement on offense.

Saying that if that one catch was made would make a difference is fools gold. Newton missed more plays and if he connected the score would even be more lopsided.

Kyle should do what Bill did with Joe and Steve DeBerg. Let Hoyer QB into the red zone then put Beathard in. It helps build confidence that's what Joe said. He said he felt bad for DeBerg but he learned how to win in the red zone early on.

But didn't Bill do that in 1980, not 1979? That would put Beathard in the games next season if the comparison holds.

BTW, I agree with you on it being a good idea. Still too early, though. Maybe by late this season, but better to do it next year.

I don't know what year he did it I was born in 78. I just know he did it. I read an article with Montana talking about it. I thought it made sense and don't know why more teams don't do that with young QBs.

Totally with you there, though Montana wasn't too fond of that process when Walsh did it with Young.

Walsh did that with Young??? I know he rotated them which Joe hated and he should of because he is the greatest QB of all time. I didn't think he rotated them specifically in the red zone though.

I don't think he did it as often, but he definitely did it. I think Young was just discussing this a few weeks ago in one of his radio interviews about how he'd go in on first down and if he screwed it up Montana would just give him a look like "great, now I have to make this drive work without a true first down, buddy." LOL.

Joe and Steve. I hated Steve but he really motivated Joe to win two more. People forget how Walsh was constantly trying to get rid of Joe, the first time shortly after the first SB. Joe may not have been on the field if anyone other than Steve were QBing. Joe was beat to snot his last years with the 49ers, starting really in 85 or 86 whenever he had the first back surgery and came back like the next day. I'm exaggerating and that was before Steve got there but you get the point. Really would be nice to see Kyle get his QB in next year's draft and to actually have an elite head coach QB back combination again. That used to be fun and lasts for a decade with some health.
