I'm a little concerned about the OL. And Hoyer isn't a durable QB when getting hit too much.
Familiarity of where to go with the ball,
play action, defense can't key in on our formations anymore and lots of roll outs...plus a short game and running game could go miles in terms of keeping Hoyer upright. Having a full off season to train as the starter helps also.
Hey NC!! How are you man!!!!
Agreed. They're getting their football legs under them. If OL play is down, the running game will also struggle. I'm hoping they can put it all together sooner than later. I imagine the first couple of games will be rough.
My man!
Yeah, don't get me wrong...the interior OL scares me. Put it this way, 3 of the 5 OL starters will be Baalke pics plus an aging Staley.
And the 5th is a Baalke-like starter in Fusco.
It may not be pretty.
Its a premature statement... But depending on what happens VS the broncos, im digging this group of 10 OL to see what they end up being.
Staley,Garnett,Kilgore,Fusco,Brown
Williams,Zane,Barnes,Magneson,Gilliam.
