If you could pick the head coach of the 49ers, who would you choose out of the two?

As for figuring kaep out, the ONLY bad passing season he had was when he quit being himself and tried to learn how to be a pocket passer.

The league didn't figure Kaepernick out Kaepernick sold put like MANY African American QBs before him.

They here how they aren't this or that or can't be this or that. Then they change their game.

Kaep stopped running. That was what made him great. While he hasn't figured it out. He was not figured out.

Ya, I think it will boil down to their ability to land a FQB. I'm rooting for them to succeed.

If we land a top 10 QB ShanaLynch will create conditions for LONG TERM success.

We're the 49ers, the team that created the WCO. Time to get back to our roots. Defense is important of course but our passing game has been way too weak the last few years. Heck, the last decade.

There's a big difference here. Jim was a HC for a while before taking the 49ers job. This is Kyles first go round.

I'm not exactly sure what your point is. We all know this is Kyle's first go round as a HC, but he's got plenty of experience as an OC in NFL, which Jim has none of up to this point.

Should I automatically prefer Jim just because he's got experience as a HC?

I love Harbaugh, but I hated all the noise around him that pretty much started in his 2nd year. Harbaugh was a tremendous leader, he just wasn't exactly the Xs and Os guy i envisioned.

Kyle fits the profile I want for a coach, that is experienced OC with great schematic acurmen (Walsh, Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, etc....). Now this doesn't mean he will win like Harbaugh, but I think he will be a very successful HC.

As for Harbs, 2011 and 2012 was magical. Everything after that was getting really old quick and culminated in the 2014 season.

Harbaugh till proven otherwise.

However, I think I will like Kyle more. He fits the mold of why I truly loved the 49ers. For decades, we just seemed far ahead of everyone else. The hiring of Shanshan seems like a return to that and our roots in general. He will be using a 2017 version of the Bill Walsh offense and 2017 version of the George Seifert defense. Can it get any better than that?

Shanahan, because of the offensive system he's installing. There's a reason that system sustains.

Shanahan. I really want to see Harbaugh take over the Lions or Colts in 2018

how is this even a question? jim harbaugh is a proven head coach and kyle is his first time doing this, who knows how it will turn out ( although i think he will be fine )
