ACTUALLY, Mackie a bit of a better blocker than Kittles.. other than that, 85 can be in the HOF so not sure where Madden got the rankings from.

yeah, hate to say that... but after learning about this, i went to watch some of Mackie's highlight... and yes, he is more of a natural blocker.. it's almost like John Frank and Brent Jones.. Frank was the better blocker while Brent is the better all around TE ..

Breaking it down: half the NFL plays on turf. Of the 11 that play on turf, only Minnesota, Indy, and Detroit are completely closed with no chance to get sunlight to natural grass. They would be a problem as none of them are big markets to offset the cost of replacing natural grass multiple times/year. Would the players have enough juice to force the league of share in the cost of grass for those teams?

Las Vegas and Arizona are closed domes but have fields that are on platforms that grow grass outside and are moved indoors during games (Genius!) SoFI with its translucent roof would probably work for grass.

NYG/NYJ play outdoors. No reason not to move to grass. Seattle, Cincy, and Tennessee are all outdoors. Only their cheapskate owners present them from going to grass.

Revenue is shared so I don't think their market will be a wall for them.

Minn has one side of their dome as one big window and Indy does have a large retractable roof. So it could work

NFLPA needs to counter with all contracts are guaranteed if the Turf stays

I heard that Messi refused to play any World Cup matches if the fields weren't natural grass. That's a pretty big dealbreaker right there.
