I was thinking about that too. He does get a lot of injuries but he plays so darn hard it's not surprising. Same for Deebo.

Rather have an injured kittle than the crap we seen with tight ends before him.

I love Jimmy, but it's time to cut bait.

Dam It's a wrap fellas, We gotta hope he can stay healthy next season.

Like I said, tank for Trevor. Lets just start all our developmental players. This season is done.

Resign T. Williams, Warner, Bourne, Tartt, and maybe K. Williams. Tender Mullens (or trade) and Moseley. Offer team friendly contracts to the rest.

Go get Matt Ryan, draft Trevor (move up if we have to).

How do we get rid of our 4 wins ?

We cant. But we can tank the rest of the season by starting Mullens (and this is the only scenario I don't mind Pettis playing), and play a bunch of developmental players. We get maybe one more win. If we go 5-11 we'll be in very good striking distance to grab Trevor. Let him sit a season behind Matty Ice and let him take over in 2022.

No way the Jets skins or Jax will all take him before us....probably rejecting almost any trade offer.

The Skins and Jax will end up with a better record than us. I'm only worried about the Jets taking him. I don't see on other team that's gonna have a worse record than us picking him. If Jax ends up with a wore record they're taking him for sure so we'll have to mortgage some future to get him.

In any event we're gonna have to make a serious play for Trevor, or at least Justin Fields. QB needs to be our focus in the offseason.

ya i can see why his style of play leads to little things like this. but i dont think wev ever had a 100% kittle for a whole season.
Figures with our luck once we paid him he starts braking down more and more.

I recall posters saying his play style does not equal longevity and I agree, but he's still very young.

Just our damn luck.

What an awful SB hangover, lol.

It's starting to feel like years previous, where we take expectations off the board for the season.

No Sir. He's out for 8 weeks. The season is over. Lets tank for Trevor, or Justin Fields.

I have done that at this point. With Kittle, Deebo, Mostert out I think the Packers win. Too much to overcome.

The Jaguars are currently 1-6, the WFC is 2-5. I don't see either of those teams passing up the 49ers. Both will be lucky to win two or three more games al season.

You're likely right about the Jags. But the WFC plays in the NFC East...

Only winnable games I see for them are against Dallas, the Giants and possibly against the 49ers, maybe.

Yeah, for now. But both of their remaining games are more winnable than ours.

True. But we have no winnable games left.

Washington plays in such a weak division this year that they may win a couple more games.
