Totally the reason I was against paying him mega dollars. Never played an entire season healthy. Back to George Brittle

Well George looks like you actually will not Be playing

This team is so predictable when it comes to injuries. Is there anyone that believed Kittle May play?

Put me in the category of happy he's not playing this week. Why risk your best player? I say let him rest a few weeks. It's probably a partially torn lateral or medial or meniscus, so let it heal.

People keep talking about Jordan Reed but I wanna see Woerner. He's supposedly the next Kittle, from the hype.

Absolutely right about resting Kittle. Complaining about that makes no sense at all. You're playing the Jets. I'd rest him against the Giants also. Can't afford to compromise a long term investment for some short term pursuit.
TE is one position the team is stocked at. Reed is an elite TE. Time to use him. Dwelley really good also.
I disagree that Woerner is the next KIttle; From what I seen, it's not close and I don't know where to begin. Not the speed, not the wiggle, looks stiff running routes. But he can block, I'm sure. It'll be great to see him play a whole lot and blow up, but I doubt that it happens.
Besides if the 9ers cannot beat both the Jets and the Giants without Kittle, this definitely isn't their year.

Really? i wasn't under that impression.
It's difficult to play violently in the middle of all the action and not get nicked up sometime during the season.
Did you see the play where he got hurt? And bounced right back up? That didn't look like some one who was brittle. I'm not seeing anyone else who could do that. It looked really serious to me. I'm really surprised that he came back and finished the game

THE GUY need to stay healty and not be a hero against THE JETS !!!

Rest him, let see what we have behind him, then if we can continue for another week without him, rest him some more.. as long as Kittle is playing, Shanny is going to get him the ball and it will be endangering the guy even more..

Yeah, he did it to his best friend and favorite receiver (ball catcher), but he sure as hell didn't mean it and nobody felt worse about it than JG. It happens...just not often and when it does, it was accidental. To have it be your favorite receiver and best friend...that just makes it exponentially worse for jimmy.

I don't want to think of this team with no George. Take your best Offensive player , and have him out ....it is just too awful to even comprehend. OTOH, i really like him sitting out this game at least and maybe some others. When i saw the replay ,and again and again....i was sure he tore an ACL, MCL, or either anterior or posterior cruciates. Same for meniscus. It was THAT bad. Don't know how far that knee got hyperextended, but on me it would have just broken off. If he truly didn't damage something, it is a miracle.

Totally agree with you doc. I thought Kittle was out for the season too.

Too many fans are too quick to pull out the pitch forks. 1 dimensional people. Jimmy G is fine. He can hardly be blamed when he aint calling the plays and other players are not executing the plays properly, like Pettis not getting his routes right. Same here as blaming JG for Kittle hurting his knee. Just lacks insight.

Fans have to learn to stop catastrophizing.

Dude get off Jimmy's nuts lol.

I'm as big of a jimmy fan as the next niner fan...he played awful last week. Horrible mechanics, very inaccurate, poor pre/post reads etc...

Jimmy left Kittle open to getting hurt. That s**t is NOT acceptable for a NFL QB. Wasn't even a downfield throw...

That's a grade school throw and he f**ked it up...Also please show me Pettis not running correct routes? Let's stop making excuses for a horrible game from our QB. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass and plays better...because we know he can.
