Nah

Lol good for kittle to get his money before his body starts breaking down.

Bad for us to give him all that money if his body parts start breaking.

He deserved it, he's outperformed his contract the last couple of years.

One of the few times your sunny side up appears on these boards!

Agree, and I'll just add he's a great free agent recruiter for the team. I think everybody gets along with Kittle. If I was Kyle, and knowing how good the Iowa OLinemen are, I'd send Kittle to help our front office recruit some free agent undrafted Iowa OLinemen for us in the 2021 draft, specially if we can't sign Trent next year.

Between the Kittle deal and the future Trent Williams deal, if we go to the super bowl, I think the Trent Williams deal will be much more difficult to get done.

I guess trent could always get $20M per to go play for the Jags or some s**t lol. Face it the teams with the most cap space for the most part are the s**ttiest teams. IF he's already got generational wealth a couple million isn't gonna make a massive difference.

The funny thing with that comment is KC didn't add a dime to their current cap space...Mahomes finishing out his rookie deal this yr, Jones was already on the books with the tag and nothing changes there, and Kelce is still on the books for 2 more yrs.

I mean that's WHY people need to stop talking about APY

Big difference between giving someone an extension and signing him as a FA.

Oh totally. APY is what players understand but teams it's a different calculation.

correct lol or they will have to cut guys like Jones, Hill, Mathieu etc....both their starting OTs will be looking for deals after 2021 as well.

I'm willing to go to cap hell if we get a couple of championships out of it.

This is a big yr for Jimmy, if he does his thing they should look to restructure his deal. Give SF much needed cap relief.

First rule about APY… you don't talk about APY.

Yeah, I don't believe it.

Kelce agrees to $14M or $15M per year. Just a little higher than Kittle. 4 years.

My theory is that *if* he gets to the Lombardi game and gets his ring, he doesn't have to give the 49ers any discounts to get a super bowl ring anymore. He can just cruise on some bottom feeding team for a couple of years and then basically retire and not ever have to work again for the rest of his life. That's one reason I think siging trent next year with Kittle contract on the books make it so difficult.

Well, we don't know what's going to happen until he's on the field kicking' a$$. Hell, that run against New Orleans was worth $5mi!!! Until then, good signing

Bills just signed today their LT Dion Dawkins to a 4 year deal worth $60 Million. Hopefully Trent signs something similar.

How is $14 to $15M a year higher than $15M a year?
