Parking lot. LOL. Makes perfect sense...

Forgive my ignorance but it's the same site, peeps in the parking lot never come into Niner Talk?

Just one thread really. Enjoy: http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/parking-lot/186064-chip-good-dude-thread-memoriam/page4969/

If you like another site, cool...like you said, both are excellent tools for giving you as accurate range (at worst).

But AB is ours and he acts with integrity and he's honest here. We're lucky to have him and even luckier to be able to IM him at any time to get the latest info.

At this point, I can't even figure out what your angle is here and what you're trying to prove.

Cosigned. I can appreciate the kind of time that AB takes into understanding his passion. I love watching film but barely get time for it anymore with three kids, including a 3 month old. He's never had a problem explaining the full parameters of his information, being very concise and clear about his numbers and how to get them. We appreciate you AB.

Yeah, what he said!
A big thanks to NCommand, Willisfn4life, and Mojave, appreciate the love. Just trying to do my best, and educate people, use OverTheCap.com, more reliable, plus I know the owner.

No thanks, political talk is about as pointless as religious talk in a forum.

I was just wondering how his numbers were different and asked him questions about it and provided a link to another site. His first response was to bash the other site. I don't really care about all that crap. I was just curious.

I was just wondering how two other sites have the same info if only one site is "stealing" info?

If it's common info anyone can get how is it "stealing" info? Why are people getting butthurt over cap info being "stolen"? If you google NFL player contracts like 3 sites always come up. So I really don't see what the problem is.

This is nothing personal I was just wondering. lol

He thought he proved him wrong a while back and now that he is wrong yet again he can't take it. He can't admit he's wrong either. He's doing this on purpose. So his buddies in the parking lot were encouraging him to keep digging into AB and of course this lemming accommodated them. At this point he just looks foolish but what else is new.

No, I wasn't trying to prove anyone wrong. I was just asking a questions to find out information. That's what you do when someone has secret sources and doesn't have contracts broken down so you can see all the information.

I was asking question about specific contract details because ABs page doesn't give a breakdown of contracts. They just provide numbers. I was wrong about a signing bonus being divided into 16 games and not just 11. I have no problem saying that lol. My question was a very valid point because I can't see how the contracts are broken down OTC site.

I thought it was funny how when I asked a simple question about cap numbers from other sites he was quick to bash the other site. So I thought I'd share that funny story about our cap guru in the parking lot. I don't care about the cap site wars lol. Was just asking a simple question.

lol cap monies is clearly way more serious than I thought.

What's the word after Mitchell and Kerley signings, Kap opt out and release of Torrey.
No word on Mitchell's terms just yet, expect them tomorrow, my source I believe was at the Combine this past week/weekend.

Kerley's numbers aren't in yet, probably looking around Thursday ish.

Not sure what SoCold is talking about in the Parking Lot, I don't go in there, just for the Comic Book Thread, but no other thread.

You got it bud, it will depend on when they cut Smith, they can't designate him a June 1 cut till March 9th at 4PM EST which is when FA and the new league year begins.

I believe, based on differences from the NFLPA cap report, Mitchell's cap number is either $2,764,875 or $2,682,875, depending on when the NFLPA database changed Marcus Martin and Aaron Lynch's base salaries for 2017. The reason for the 875 ending is he will only have 9 games count for his per game roster bonus, and I think he got $350K per game rbs, just a hunch, I should know tomorrow..

Hmm interesting, so SoCold thinks I copy numbers from other sites, I have been doing this since 2005 online, OTC and Spotrac weren't around back then, as for OTC I know the owner, we go back and forth, I ask him for help, he asks me for help. Whether SoCold or anyone else wants to believe it, Spotrac copies numbers from OTC on a regular basis, OTC's owner has had to ban their IP Addresses, because they have a few of them they use.

Young2Rice, I provided proof about cap room disappearing, the head of the NFLPA replied to me last year that it either gets carried over or goes away since it's not real money until spent. Owners don't pocket money that is marked for players, that's illegal in the CBA, they got caught doing that a couple years back, and each team got an extra $1.8M ish in cap room because the Owners withheld a good chunk of money from them.

SoCold again If I reveal my source, I lose them, which i refuse to do just to make some people on here happy, because If I revealed who it was, someone on here would go on Social Media and say who my source is, then I'd lose them.

Chaz I don't live in my mom's basement, nice try though, and again you can believe me if you want or not, I don't care, doesn't change or effect me.

ValRod, I don't pay for any access, only media members have access to the basic base salary report, which doesn't give you all the numbers, only league people have deeper access, which is why I have a source who has ability to see the entire contract(s).

Thanks DaJanksta, I actually thought we were friend, oh well.

And SoCold I never claimed to be a cap wizard, and if you were to read my articles on NinersNation you'd see that I breakdown the contracts when I get the information, also on twitter.
It's also hilarious that how Spoitrac doesn't even have K'Wuan Williams cap number up, I have had it up, and reported since I got it a few weeks back.

1yr $690K, $615K BS, $75K Sign Bonus, $75K Week 1 Roster Bonus(Considered NLTBE), and $250K in NLTBE Play Time Incentives.

So SoCold, how did I get that if both Spotrac, and OTC don't have them up?

Here see, http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kwuan-williams-14831/

Let me be real clear here. If somebody is egging on an attack on a poster in the Parking Lot, it should be reported to the mods. If a discussion does not merit the results you would like it too; it is best to move on. I think that we can all agree that for a long, long time, AB has provided a service to the Webzone; sure, there are other sites. And those that work with sources, understand, that to maintain a source, you enter into an agreement with them to protect their anonymity--unless, the source does not care about their anonymity; then, and only then, can you name drop like a motherf**ker.

In this era of president's, Macedonian tweens, breitbart, and anything speculative, claim that everything is fake news or controversial, it is best to remember that there are those who seek to do it the right way. AB is one of them. Has always been. And, I am betting, will always be.
