49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Anyone that has doubts is a lost cause. We are lucky to have him as out coach. How quickly we forget the crap that has been here since 1999 except Harbaugh.

This team has a ton of character and they play for him. Regardless of next weeks outcome they showed a lot of balls today. To win that game after being down big, moron McVary acting like a f**king a*****e, b******t calls, no Trent, no K. Williams.

I honestly just don't get you guys,...and I'd like to think I'm one of the biggest critics here. Lynch? Still questionable. Shanahan? Dude was born to be a coach,...literally.

A masterful playcaller that will look even more masterful once Trey is truly ready, given the weapons we have are still healthy.

As much as you love Jimmy's grit and resolve and comeback,....Shanahan is handicapped without a legit consistent threat @ the QB spot. Even still this year, he found a way.

Yeah Jimmy is pretty clutch, but people keep forgetting he has to be clutch to pull himself out of his own bone head plays

I agree.
Sean McVays Wikipedia has been updated to Kyle Shanahan as his father again.
Big LOL at those who ridiculed Shanny for punting at the 2-minute mark in the fourth quarter. It was the right decision in the moment, and it paid off.

It was the ONLY decision. 4th and 18 on Rams side. McVay blew it running all 3 times after that, though. Rams fans are correct in calling for his head. He is exactly what Kyle haters see. Good offensive mind, s**t coach. The talent on that team is ridiculous.

It was the right decision, but neither option was very appealing.

He still has some Issues from time to time, but yeah. He also has potential to be the best coach In the league too ( once belichick retires ). It'll be Interesting to see how this offense looks next year with Lance at the helm.

I thought the bigger blunder was McVay running it on 3rd down the following possession. It used the Niners final timeout, but one throw for 8 yards would've won it right there. Seemed real conservative.
