I was doing this exercise in my head a couple weeks ago. Which QB's are the most valuable asset their franchise has, including coaches and FO executives. Pointless, but kind of interesting.

Nah. I would put him number 1 for Philly though.

I didn't run through every team. Plus it just gets wonky with a lot of combos… for example, I think Dak might be the most valuable asset Dallas has, and Dak is a fringe top 10 QB at best. Mahomes is going to likely be in the GOAT conversation, but so is Reid. If Stafford was in his prime, would you rather have him than McVay etc…

Stafford has always been a very good QB, just had poor GM/HC in Detroit.

I tend to agree on the surface, but there's probably more good coaches than there is game changing QB's. Just depends on what coach were talking about.

Stafford has always been a very good QB, just had poor GM/HC in Detroit.

Stafford didn't just had poor GM/HC in Detroit, he had a poor team. But also you now combine HC and GM together.

One can also say Andy Reid has always been an excellent HC, just didn't have Mahomes in Philly. Also Belichick has always been an excellent HC, just didn't have Tom Brady in Cleveland.
