I've wondered if Purdy was never drafted by us but by another team, would they have recognized how good he was or would of they just disregarded him. Could he have never gotten his chance to shine? I want to think that he would of, although his climb to stardom probably would of taken a lot longer with another team and different circumstances.

Probably would look like poo poo without Shanny.

As great as Purdy is I bet more people in the NFL would be blowing up Kyles phone if both were let go from SF. KS is an elite HC.

I was doing this exercise in my head a couple weeks ago. Which QB's are the most valuable asset their franchise has, including coaches and FO executives. Pointless, but kind of interesting.

This is the kind of stupid, divisive b******t that is unnecessary. It doesn't have to be an either/or, and we don't need to be drawing senseless lines in the sand. We're 6-0 and have elite QBing and elite coaching happing simultaneously. Enjoy the f**king ride.

For sure. They are both great and the team finally has the perfect marriage we fans have wanted since Steve left.

In your head did you have any team where their most valuable asset is their GM besides Philly?

Nah. I would put him number 1 for Philly though.

I didn't run through every team. Plus it just gets wonky with a lot of combos… for example, I think Dak might be the most valuable asset Dallas has, and Dak is a fringe top 10 QB at best. Mahomes is going to likely be in the GOAT conversation, but so is Reid. If Stafford was in his prime, would you rather have him than McVay etc…

I'll always take a great HC over a great player, including QB.

Stafford has always been a very good QB, just had poor GM/HC in Detroit.

I tend to agree on the surface, but there's probably more good coaches than there is game changing QB's. Just depends on what coach were talking about.
