With all our current Injuries, we can get a lot better. Feels like Seattle can only get worse if they start losing players.

I give Mike Macdonald a ton of props for what he's been able to build in Seattle but he hasn't shown he can win with critical injuries on his team. And I'm not talking about Sam Darnold who is a great dude but not a game changer for them. I'm talking JSN on offense. I'm talking Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams, Witherspoon, Emmanwori type injuries. Guys who actually are critical to their success on either side of the ball.

McDonald knows defense and built a super d almost overnight. He seems like a good guy too.

Brady actually told us their formula - super defense and run the ball with no turnovers. They were missing their top two backs. I agree Darnold is lacking. He will do an amazing play, then look lost for 3 series in a row etc. Their entire passing game is JSN, but if they can run the ball and play it safe, they will be hard to beat. I agree for sure on offense, they cannot scheme around injuries much. Defensively we have yet to see so I can't say.

Next round assuming they are fully healthy... they will be much tougher, but let's not forget we were missing Bosa, Greenlaw, Stribs, Sigle etc. Also, I believe Purdy is a difference maker. If we can actually get back to full health, I love our chances.

Mike MacDonald and Raheem Morris have similar defensive philosophies, and similar approaches to defending the pass. I like the fact that Purdy has to face not only Mike MacDonald twice a year - and I do agree he's one hell of a defensive coach, but so is Raheem Morris. Brock faces Raheem, daily in 49ers practices. We finally have a Defensive Coordinator that doesn't employ a flawed defensive scheme. MacDonald, Raheem, and Spagnulo are very similar in their approaches to defense - in my opinion.

We won but it really wasn't because of Kyle. Our only real drive was just Brock and Evans

we've lost the biggest of the games because of SHANNY

You have no idea what you're talking about. But if you're going to make statements like this then you need to bring more than what you have up there. Give actual reasons and examples you believe that. Otherwise we'll start treating you like a troll, because plenty of people believe that's what you're doing.

I have 3 ideas of what I'm talking about and YOU just wont accept it.

The Super Bowl Fiasco vs KC (leading by 11 I think) - if the opponent (Honeybadger) is thanking us for going away from the run, then it says it all. If he wasn't all in on Grappy, then why put the game on his hand? Grappy overthrew the WR and no doubt, but he should have never been put on that position to begin with.

The Rams NFCCG - everyone blames Tartt for dropping the INT, but the Rams and their HC spotted us 10 pts with 0 time out (if I remember) and our HC still could not capitalized on that.

The Super Bowl Fiasco vs KC II (overtime alone) - were we not UP on KC once again, with a very big margin?

POSTING REALITY IS NOT TROLLING

Well maybe if you come down and live with us in reality you'd stop bringing it up after big wins years after the games you bring up. Also the least you can do is google the scores so you don't look ridiculous with your takes.

We led by 10 in the KC SB. Houston Texans that same year were up 24 points on the Chiefs and lost that game by 20 points. The Chiefs were a very good team, made better by the officiating that refused to call holding against our defense. Kyle has nothing to do with officiating, which if it wasn't completely one sided in that game we win that game.

On top of that I don't care what Honeybadger or any other Chiefs player said. The film is there for everyone to watch. Running the ball into loaded boxes doesn't guarantee success. A 10 point lead is not something crazy.

We had 1 drive with a 10 point lead in that SB. Here were the plays in that possession
Mostert run for 6 yards
Pass to Kittle for 12 yards
Mostert run for 1 yard
Incomplete pass to Deebo as Jimmy sails the pass
False start penalty giving us 3rd and 14.
Garoppolo run for 3 yards
Punt.

So in reality we "ran" the ball 3 times out of 5 plays. One of those was a 12 yard gain for a first down.

Next drive we ran on first down for 5 yards. Then Jimmy missed 2 straight throws before we punted. 3 point lead. 6 minutes to play. That is not "just run the ball" and the pass on 2nd down was wide open for Kittle not only for the first down but a huge play. Chris Jones knocked it down. 3rd down Jimmy gets hit to the head that gets no flag.

This is reality. We've talked about it for years now but you continue to spread nonsense where you can't even be bothered to look at how much our lead was let alone the details of the plays involved.

The Rams game? Somehow they spotted us 10 points? Once again you can't be bothered to look at what actually happened in that game. The offense never stepped foot on the field up by those 10 points. We scored to make it 17-7 with 2 minutes in the 3rd quarter. The very next drive they scored a TD to make it a 3 point game. Only so much Shanahan can do with injured Jimmy G missing throws there to be made or backups missing blocks and the team not able to pick up 2nd and 1 or 3rd and 2.

The reality in that game was Sean McVay was completely outcoached by Shanahan. He was taking bad timeouts, making bad challenges and got bailed out by Tartt and Matt Stafford and Kupp connection.

And lastly...no we were never up on KC with a very big margin. Unless 3 points is what you consider a very big margin.

So yes. This does smell like trolling considering you're literally spreading things that are not factual as truth. And the fact that we have to get into these discussions from games from 5+ years ago when we have a lot of exciting stuff to talk about for this season is ridiculous.

I'm old enough to remember when the Niners were labeled as a "finesse" team. To see our beloved Niners not only running a similar version of the WCO, but also be known as one of the most physical and punishing teams in the league brings a tear to my one good eye.

You may not be old enough to know that even though we were called that, but on the field, we were totally opposite from that

So sick of everyone saying Kyle can't win the SB, that if we faced KC they'd beat us again. Am I the only person old enough to remember when Reid couldn't win the big one?

Yeah blows the mind
We win against one of the best defenses/teams in the league and our most challenging NFC opponent most likely and it's, how about an ice cold shower of hate?

It was only him and his nuggies for a long time
This has been a rough season for the kyle haters. I hope they are getting the help and support they need in these dark times.

Do you really feel that way
I still remember last season when the Chargers eliminated the Chiefs and all the usual suspects were like "I miss Harbaugh!! Harbaugh >>>>> that SB LOSER Kyle! Can't believe Jed ran Harbaugh out of town for winning too much!!"

Those comments were dumb then and they are especially, especially, ESPECIALLY stupid today lmao

Man you cant lie those Harbaugh 49er teams were incredible.

But right now Harbaugh is ending his nfl coaching career similar to Carroll. Completely ruining an AFC West team. But this time he has arguably the most talented qb hes had since Luck

His team has already been decimated by injuries, yet they still beat the SB favorites (lambs) AND SB champs at their crib! Nah man, if he doesn't get COTY then the award is simply a participation trophy.

No I don't want him to win it. Please let O'Connel win it. It would be the best thing for our future
