We won but it really wasn't because of Kyle. Our only real drive was just Brock and Evans

we've lost the biggest of the games because of SHANNY

You have no idea what you're talking about. But if you're going to make statements like this then you need to bring more than what you have up there. Give actual reasons and examples you believe that. Otherwise we'll start treating you like a troll, because plenty of people believe that's what you're doing.

Nothing has worked in our last what 4 games or whatever. Some other team has to have had success somewhere against them. Like WTF can't he figure this defense out? We cant get any "easy" yards from his typical scheming

Some of you guys really struggle with the concept where other coaches and players are looking to make plays too.

Seattle is a GREAT defense. If we take away our hate for them out of it and just watch them they're incredibly talented group. Both in terms of scheme as well as talent and technical ability. They almost never miss tackles. Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams are the scariest group inside in the league right now probably. Witherspoon and Emmanwori are chess pieces in the secondary and really all over the field.

They were completely healthy on defense. Playing at home.

49ers came into the game missing the bulk of their WR room including 2 guys Kyle was clearly relying on to help vs a defense like Seattle in Pearsall and Stribling. The other guy was Evans who was dealing with a rib injury and guess what...he was the reason we won that game.

On top of that our running game took a HUGE bump vs Seattle. We could not run at all on these guys last year. CMC was averaging around 3 YPC against Seattle in those last 2 games and Brian Robinson wasn't doing any better.

And I realize you probably posted that earlier in the game but once again - sometimes we gotta respect the other opponent. It can't always be like the Miami game where everything was just so easy. Seattle D is as good as it gets right now. Now if they get some key injuries on there can they keep it going? They had a couple of guys out vs Washington and gave up 30 in an L to a backup QB.

I have a feeling had we put out our healthy offense vs their healthy defense we would've seen a much better first half performance.

With all our current Injuries, we can get a lot better. Feels like Seattle can only get worse if they start losing players.

I give Mike Macdonald a ton of props for what he's been able to build in Seattle but he hasn't shown he can win with critical injuries on his team. And I'm not talking about Sam Darnold who is a great dude but not a game changer for them. I'm talking JSN on offense. I'm talking Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams, Witherspoon, Emmanwori type injuries. Guys who actually are critical to their success on either side of the ball.

McDonald knows defense and built a super d almost overnight. He seems like a good guy too.

Brady actually told us their formula - super defense and run the ball with no turnovers. They were missing their top two backs. I agree Darnold is lacking. He will do an amazing play, then look lost for 3 series in a row etc. Their entire passing game is JSN, but if they can run the ball and play it safe, they will be hard to beat. I agree for sure on offense, they cannot scheme around injuries much. Defensively we have yet to see so I can't say.

Next round assuming they are fully healthy... they will be much tougher, but let's not forget we were missing Bosa, Greenlaw, Stribs, Sigle etc. Also, I believe Purdy is a difference maker. If we can actually get back to full health, I love our chances.

100% agree with all this. Great post
From seeing this rivalry usually when the offense plays well the team wins! When the offense craps itself against the Shehawk defense we lose and sometimes big.

Good win though!

You mean when the offense doesn't have their starters, the offense doesn't do well

Don't forget Seattle had to load up to beat us, because McDonalds first year wasn't spectacular
look how dumb washington was on sunday then think to yourself they beat seattle

meanwhile kyle 5-0

These are great points, I can't think of many teams who consistently perform despite huge injuries. If you can't give any of that credit to Kyle there's something wrong with you
beat seattle, rams and cards already

next rams and seattle are home games we have the inside track for the division

I have 3 ideas of what I'm talking about and YOU just wont accept it.

The Super Bowl Fiasco vs KC (leading by 11 I think) - if the opponent (Honeybadger) is thanking us for going away from the run, then it says it all. If he wasn't all in on Grappy, then why put the game on his hand? Grappy overthrew the WR and no doubt, but he should have never been put on that position to begin with.

The Rams NFCCG - everyone blames Tartt for dropping the INT, but the Rams and their HC spotted us 10 pts with 0 time out (if I remember) and our HC still could not capitalized on that.

The Super Bowl Fiasco vs KC II (overtime alone) - were we not UP on KC once again, with a very big margin?

POSTING REALITY IS NOT TROLLING
coach all smiles in the locker room after this one
