Shanahan did do something 'wrong' though. And when there's evidence that points to something else, I'll get behind it. Until then there isn't enough to draw any conclusions other than Shanahan sucks at driving, Schefter is in the bag for NFL teams (already known), and the 49ers wanted to keep this news private until they didn't have a choice.

Thats the funny part to me. Apparently it's "hard" to just... say and do nothing in public.

49ers actually did the easiest thing possible. Until they had to because a public press conference was scheduled.

I commend them for that, personally. Too many people live online and vicariously through others. Too many people are so addicted to having an online presence and persona that it's "hard" to just be chill and private for a little over a week.

If people think it was "hard" for the Niners to literally just say and do nothing for a few days then they should probably review their life for addict behavior re: the internet/social media.
