i admit i find it frustrating when ppl are driving around or at a light and on the dang phone. you are operating heavy machinery at high speeds and you got your phone out? nothing on that phone is more important than your life or the life of someone else on the road. every day ppl get hit, pedestrians get ran over, cuz we got ppl playing on their phones while driving. nearly cost coach his dang life. if there is any good to this let it serve as a warning. this may save lives is ppl take something from this and put the phones down. no one cares about your dang text

It did seem weird that both had a head-on collision, but she wasn't injured... in comparison to Kyle who got hurt bad. But then I'm reading a report that she actually was considered injuried when the call first went in. But I'm waiting for more to come out of that, before totally believing it.

He said he was only going 20 mph, that's likely why. Airbags can deploy even at low speed, but definitely if she hit him harder, it'd make sense.

There are too many people immediately screaming conspiracy anytime something happens nowadays... Locked in the pervasive social media mindset of refusing to believe anything can be as basic as it really is.

Kyle hasn't changed his story. He just told his side of it after eading that it was incorrectly reported that the other driver crossed the center line. This is what happens when the media is in a rush to get he scoop. Every news outlet is struggling for readers or likes. That's how they make money and stay in business. The days of vetting stories before posting them are gone. In rthis case we had an incorrect police report followed by an incorrect media report followed by incorrect posts by us on this website.

The only thing that matters to us in regards to this crash in whether it'll impact the season and it doesn't sound likely that it will. The exact details of the crash are not our business and people shouldn't feel so entitled to know every detail about other people's lives.

It was good on Kyle to set the record straight, but the only reason he had to do that was out of concern that these crazy conspiracy theorists would start harassing the other party involved in the accident.

Not to be a worrywart, but we don't know that for sure yet - It sounds like it'll still take him some time to get over his symptoms based on where he's currently at. Hopefully, in a month, he'll be able to coach again, but we shouldn't just check mark it off like it's a done deal.
