No team is great at it, but we've been the worst over Kyle's tenure I believe.

I definitely agree that talent, especially at QB, plays a role in it, in addition to dropback passing being a weaker part of Kyle's scheme.

We've had success with leads and in situations where we can stay balanced.

Makes sense though right. Kyle is at his best when the run game works and he has DCs guessing through his presnap motions. All that goes away when it's drop back passing. Also falls more on QB play in those instances and imo where you see how good your QB can be.

One reason great teams don't have a lot of 4th quarter comebacks is they don't need them as much. The Niners were more oftern thsn nt lesading in the 4th quarter. That goes for most great teams. That's what makes them great. I'll always remember Montana saying that 4th quarter comebacks just meant you weren't very good for the first 3 quarters.
