49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Funny thing is some people will listen to that and think Shanahan is too arrogant or some other BS. Meanwhile he's holding guys accountable and trying to make them understand how everything they do, including disguising fakes is critical to the overall success on offense.

But this also does show why we have misses on skill players. You never know how these young dudes will react to stuff like this. You know what you want to get your offense to run at its peak but if the guys aren't doing their part it's just not the same. Deebo obviously took it to heart(though he still had his moments of half assing it) but other guys can't hack it and Kyle clearly doesn't want them setting examples for other players.

Whats concerning to me is that Deebo still would run half-assed routes and have little effort, which someone like JTO has repeatedly pointed out on film (and many instances where he didnt point it out). That was one of the things I never liked about Deebo. Once he was a captain and a team leader...how are young guys supposed to react when the so-called leader is doing half-ass crap and still getting so many targets, while they are put in a doghouse for doing the same.

cool video, I love these player insights into Kyle, one of his best qualities in my opinion is getting the best out of players and having them buy into his program.

Reminds me of the Logan Ryan interview recently when Ryan said :

"I thought he related to the guys, I thought he was honest," Ryan said. "He didn't lead by yelling and being rough and tough; he led by being his real personality, which is relatable, cool, somewhat vulnerable at times. I was just so inspired by his coaching."

Thats 4D chess, folks.

Blame the inept GM we have not Kyle. Lynch is in charge of the s**tty drafts and roster construction. Kyle plays the cards he's dealt.

Yes. Lynch is the GM. Lynch is responsible for being too chicken s**t to make trades, he is responsible for continuously whiffing in the first 3 rounds of the draft. He is to blame for the huge talent gap between SF and Seattle and LA. He has ZERO business being a GM and the only reason he still remains is because Kyle is the 2nd best coach in the league and it's not even close.

Kyle has final say, it's a known thing and many wonder if he has too much say in the draft process.

Kyle is Lynch's boss.

How shocking...you ignore the stuff that shows Kyle is a great HC and bring up a move that has nothing to do with Kyle as the HC.

Rams had a clear need at corner and a small window to win it all with Stafford close to retiring. We know McVay can't win anything without Stafford.

49ers weren't making that move for McDuffie. I'm sure you meant to post this in the Lynch thread and got lost.

And we know Kyle can't win anything (period).

Let's be honest, Seahawks and Rams are playing in a different league right now.
