49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

I think it's 50/50 whether or not Kyle gets a ring. He had the right roster at the beginning of this season just too many injuries to our elite players. And last year it was McCaffrey who went down. He had 2 good chances but just came up a bit short. If Brock converts that 3rd and 5 at the end of regulation in the second super bowl, Kyie most likely has a ring if Moody makes the field goal. Just bad luck as if the football gods are working against Kyle.

That has been the biggest difference I have noticed between the SF Giants and SF Warriors as compared to the SF 49ers in the past 20 years. The 2 former teams came through in the clutch and finished whereas the SF 49ers just could not find a way to finish. My personal consolation prize is that I did witness the 49ers 5 other times finish even though it was awhile back. Some teams like Buffalo have never won in the Super Bowl era.

I think Kyle next year has a good chance of winning it all with players like Brock, McCaffrey, Bosa, Warner, Kittie, Lenoir, Pinero. But I do think if you can add a couple players like Jefferson and Crosby, all of a sudden you become the favorite.

I'd love to get both Jefferson and Crosby but Idk if we can afford both plus the amount of picks might be too much.

The problem with this front office is they think they are one or two players away when in reality this is a gutted roster full of aging, over priced and injury prone players. The roster is too top heavy.

We have ZERO impact players under 25 years old. We need to be building through the draft but that is something this front office has shown they can't do.

So adding Jefferson or Crosby might help us win a few games but when we get down to the top 8 or top 4 we will get embarrassed again. We aren't two players away from competing with those teams.

They told us they didn't believe to be close to being real contenders when they chose to stay put at the trade deadline.

That paired with the overall gutting of the team last offseason makes it pretty clear the FO is rebuilding. I think the defense has potential next year with 3 key players coming back and a group of young promising players that just got playoff experience.

I think the primary focus should be pass rush and young weapons on offense. Add in an OL too.
