You'd be surprised how quickly things can turn around. Some offensive speed and health will level the playing field and Darnold is a liability for that team against a healthy defense.

Just being able to run the football could change everything. Your offense isn't one dimensional anymore. You keep their defense on the field.

And stopping the run on the other side, especially against that team.
Even though I'm calling for his firing, it's not that I don't think he's good. It's that he's set is his ways and won't adjust. He won't play rookies unless he really has to. Once he likes a player, he won't ever bench them. No matter how bad they play. Overthinks in big moments and won't make risky calls. Runs a player into the ground like CMC.

Years of being dominated? Things change quickly in the NFL. Lose a couple players in free agency and suffer a cou[le big losses due to injury and you lose your dominance. It was only a few years ago that Seattle went from ther dominant team to being dominated by the Niners and Rans. They started drafting with the specific goal of being able to stop those offenses.

Look at this year. The Chiefs and Ravens didn't even make the playoffs after being the dominant teams for years. NE suddenly has a shot at getting to another SB. Nothing lasts long in the NFL with the way players move around.

They got contracts to hand out pretty soon, they gonna give Sam a legit extension? SF beat them when we weren't all hurt.

Kyle is obviously gonna have to adapt and we're gonna have to figure out how to build a roster to beat them (much like they have been doing to us).

it's football man, s**t changes year to year a ton.

AIN'T meant to be... Shanny not getting us another ring... even if we sign the best of the best FAs, draft future HOF players... he's not getting us another ring.. it's not meant to be..

enough is enough, we shouldn't allow this franchise to just win enough, be close enough, and do it over and over again..

Agreed.

Run the ball better, stop the run, don't have major special teams gaffes… that's a close game even without having stars everywhere. We're not far away from being able to do those things.

The thing is even healthy the Seahawks will beat the niners 8/10 times as it is right now.

They can lose 2-3 players on defense and their defense would still be dominant. Just adding bosa isn't going to make the niner pass rush better.

The niners need like 20 players to even be near the same level.

I mean if your generous you could say purdys greatness cuts that in half to just 10 players.

That's to break even to us winning half them winning half.

The other thing is MacDonald is just better than shanahan at in game decisions.

They control the clock and limit purdys ability by limiting possessions.

He makes less bad in game decisions. Look at the 3rd and one they had. They just tush pushed it in and moved on.

We had third and one and ran it off tackle to the short side away from Trent, then on 4th and one we did some terrible trick pitch juice play to the short side again away from Trent...

They don't do as many dumb mistakes like that.

You're absolutely right. I mean they beat the Niners just by dominating the running game both sides of the field essentially.

The offensive performance was abysmal. it had nothing to do with injuries and everything to do with scheme. You're not going to tell me the return of kittle would have changed that offense yesterday. Just ugly.

I think it had something to do with injuries and an overall lack of talent, lol. This team is talent thin at the skill positions and we were one dimensional.

When it's a beatdown like that everything is an issue.

Lost the best TE in football, Ricky P is basically a decoy, CMC running on fumes and handed them 7PTs as soon as the game started….we were short handed all yr to begin with.

anyone saying injuries didn't play a part is a liar and has alternative motives to prove a point. Anyone that's reasonable knows we didn't have the horses this yr and made it farther than we all thought

We were never really gonna beat the Seahawks with all the Injuries were dealing with right now, but it was still a little concerning with how bad we got beat by them.

Let's hope we can fix the weak links of this team ( OL n Secondary ) and come back next season better than ever
