49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Literally exactly the same as the Seahawks and much more difficult than the Bears, Eagles and Packers schedules.

You can **** on your own team if you want to but "only went 12-5 and made the playoffs because easy schedule" is not a valid argument at this point.

Especially when a team like the Rams lose to Atlanta and Carolina.

That's not even mentioning the fact that a lot of our games were played with a huge injury discrepancy.

Funny how when our team was mostly healthy on defense we manage to beat Seattle and the Rams(even though we didn't have Bosa for that one)

Lost a 5 point game to the Jags with Purdy clearly unable to play to his abilities and the refs totally F'ing us taking away the Stout pick and not calling holding on their punt return TD.

49ers would be a completely different team right now if they were as healthy as Seattle or LA have been most of the season.

Im a realist, not a 49er homer and I realize that the Eagles are a superior team. If we win it will be a huge upset but the chances of that happening on the road are very slim.

I think Barkley and Hurts will cave this D in on the ground.

This regime has left me disappointed enough times to not expect anything from them.

Eagles are not a superior team. They are the healthier team. That's the difference.

Mike McDaniel now fired.

I remember early in 2022 when half this site was saying he was the real genius and Kyle was getting exposed without him. Good times.

I'm trying to understand this thought process.

This doesn't prove anything except the owner made a move that he deemed necessary.

when browns fired belicheck did that mean he was a s**t coach?

when the raiders fired gruden did that mean he was a s**t coach?

when the bucs fired dungy did that mean he was a s**t coach?

when the eagles fired Reid did that mean he was a s**t coach?

when saleh was fired by the jets did that mean he was a s**t coach?

the argument is so flawed.

He's a worse head coach than Kyle despite what everyone was trying to claim in Week 3 of 2022. Period. Full stop. There's no debating this after today. Dolphins owner decided it was worth firing him just for a CHANCE at John Harbaugh. Nobody would decide that if they already had Kyle.

Your boy might still make a good OC though. Hang in there!

So Dolphins owner is all knowing. Got it.

Oh look. He must be a great coach since the browns want him. That proves everything.

You tell me - Would it be reasonable to bet on a team missing potentially 6 starters playing on the road against a team that could field 21 out of 22 starters??

Or are you again talking out of your ass??

Come on. You can't tell me the niners roster fully healthy is equal to that eagles roster. Thats ridiculous.eagles are superior in all ways except Maybe QB TE and LB. Eagles have the superior WRs OL DL Secondary RB. Thats the very definition of homerism.

Such a lazy take.

You think that not having Bosa, Fred, William's and now 5 linebackers has had no impact?

I think you both are right. You are correct that if everyone is healthy Eagles have a superior roster. I think Genus is right that if fully healthy we have a superior team.

Player personnel its Eagles hands down. OL, DL, WR, Secondary. Now If you factor in Shanahan and his system as part of the team then id take us all day if healthy.

Maybe not equal on paper but definitely capable of winning. If healthy, we would have a good QB, versatile offensive weapons, elite players on every level of the defense, and elite coaching.

Lazy take? The lazy take was saying we beat SEA when our defense was healthy. When they scored the exact same amount of points was when they weren't. The difference in those games was the offense.

No team in the league is equal to the Eagles roster. Problem for them is they have clown show level head and offensive coaching that allows an offense with Hurts Barkley AJ Devonta Godert and a good o line to produce 16 yards in a half.

Funny how 13 points doesn't tell the whole story...

The more you post the more I question if you even bother watching this team play games anymore.

Yes the offense was a problem, going up against the #1 defense in the NFL, while the defense was going up against a much weaker opponent.

I'd say giving up a 3rd and 17, after failing to grab an in your hands type of gift fumble deserves blame as well.

Or are you again talking out of your ass?? - why does it matter?

You tell me - Would it be reasonable to bet on a team missing potentially 6 starters playing on the road against a team that could field 21 out of 22 starters?? - so will you put money on the Eagles then?

Team includes coaches does it not? So while our player talent isn't the same as the Eagles, yes I believe our team - players and coaches/scheme is better than the Eagles if everyone is healthy.
