When you keep throwing out wild and totally unfounded statements with nothing behind them but lots of words...there is nothing to your point in the first place.
Who are these new and upcoming peers who are leaping him? Please do tell us.
Nothing is more annoying than fans who don't really understand the game simply throwing things out there like it's just that simple. And I'm not even implying that I'm some X's and O's wizard...I'm not but I've followed this sport long enough to understand that defenses aren't going to magically stop playing well just cuz you put two players out there at the same position...
Here's your list to start:
1. Mcvay. 2. Sirianni both won sbs under kyles tenure here.
Now we go with younger teams with more potential.
1. Macdonald for obvious reasons (higher seed more talent outside of bp)
2.Vrabel higher seed younger more talent
3. Liam coen higher seed more talent
There's 5 right there that either won a SB or had a better record than shanahan (since everybody wants to count games other than winning the SB for shanahan)
This leaves off some other obvious candidates who are older in Reid, Peyton. That's 7 then you throw in the maybe guys at harbaugh, Ryan's, johnson.
Oh look now shanahans not even in the top 10 anymore.
6 years ago he was definitely top 3-5 now he's maybe top 12. He slips farther every year...
