Vrabel deserves it more than Johnson. Johnson walked into a much better situation.
And Shanny over Vrabel... I like Vrabel and he's doing a fantastic job, but Shanny is doing something more spectacular than any HC, there's no debate imo. He's also doing it with two of Patriots' rejects

Kyle will still make you pull your hair out when he's playing CMC and co when the game is literally out of reach. Stop it.

I'd be really curious to see how our team looks over the last three weeks vs how we looked with Mac.
With Purdy, outside of those 3 picks against carolina - our offense has been putting up more points. Special teams has contributed to that and it's helped keep our defense out of bad situations.
Our team seems to be playing at a higher level since brock took over again. He's made mistakes but the efficiency seems to be impacting D/ST.
it'll be interesting to see how we finish the season - three 8+ win teams left, one against a division rival.
Let's hope we run the table and go into the playoffs playing our best ball. Man the young guys have really blossomed this year. the last two drafts of young guys have really stepped up.

He still does things that makes you wonder wtf he's thinking, but he got Brock on the edge near the goal line. I'll take baby steps from Kyle

I wonder if it's the RB coach decision on who to play? I know Kyle is the final boss but with him calling plays i don't think he has the time to also dictate who is in and who isn't. I think that would fall to the position coaches.

Sounds like a collaboration between the player and coaches from past comments. I agree they need to play more, especially when we have a good lead. (Gurrendo to)

He's a great coach isn't it? The Coaching Staff is doing an outstanding job this season.

I was actually glad he pulled them earlier than normal yesterday. I would still like to see more reps for the rookies during garbage time, but he managed the game well yesterday in those conditions. Surprised the blizzard never came in the 2nd half.

I still think Kyle is way too conservative over all. Consistently burns the clock down at the end of the half and ends up not having enough time to go for a TD. He rarely goes for it on 4th down, and he never calls any trick plays on special teams.

I absoulety hate when he burns the clock at the end of the 1st half.
KC, Buff and others see 50 seconds and think TD. KS thinks 3 yrds a cloud of dust and maybe a FG try.

Shanahan will never win one unfortunately.
He's been kind of c*ck blocked every time he had a real shot at it.
Lost to John Harbaugh in 2019 when he completely turned the 49ers around and has us as the #1 seed with Jimmy G, Harbaugh rode the coattails of Lamar's epic MVP season. We made the SB, they lost to the Titans by 16 points at home and went one and done.
Lost to Brian Daboll in 2022 when he had us on an absolute run after losing QB1 and QB2 that year and I really think we win it all that year if Purdy's elbow isn't destroyed on that first drive vs the Eagles. Arguably our best defense and offense that was pretty darn good as well.
Lost to Kevin Stefanski in 2023 when we were cruising through the season for the most part. Ironically Stefanski won it by getting the Browns to the playoffs with multiple QB injuries.
So I don't know how Shanahan will be able to win it. He's literally seen all these other coaches steal it from him doing what he's done(outside of having an MVP QB dominate) he's had the worst to first situation which is how Daboll won in 22. He had the QB injuries but still winning which is how Stefanski won in 23.
...i'm good with him just going and winning the SB without that award tho. Just not sure we've got the horses this year. So wish that Bosa and Warner were able to come back after the bye.
