What are people's thoughts on the schedule, adjusted for opponents respective pre-seasons and comings-and-goings?

I never thought the schedule looked easy.

This division is generally a bruiser regardless of records.

Last years non-playoff teams can become playoff teams this year.

One game at a time, Try to stay healthy and stack wins.

Exactly!!!!! Just because the 9ers don't play KC, Balt, Buff or Philly, they still have to play in the NFCW!! Not to mention people act like Tampa at home is an easy task and the 9ers always lose to the Browns in Cleveland no matter how s**tty they are.

Just got done watching episode 3 of "Americas Team" with my cowboys brother in law. You young bucks, watch that episode and see what this team use to be. That episode is about the Niners and how good we were. That's why us old timers have a hard time watching this team under Shannahan. He isn't a winner. What debartolo and Steve young said. We are the 49ers. We just don't lose big games. Unless you have a coach who doesn't know how to win. Year nine and the guys still doesn't know how to win the bog game. Wake me up when this guy is gone and the front office is ready to show the fans they are serious about winning a Super Bowl.

Steve Young didn't lose big games?

Has shanny won a Super Bowl. Nope. Watch how Eddie debartolo opens that episode and what he says. That's what the Niners use to stand for and we just don't anymore. Shanny wouldn't have lasted 3 years here under an ownership who cared about winning. The dude is a loser. I remember what falcons fans were saying g when we hired him and I knew he was the wrong guy then. UNFORTUNATLEY, I'm right. As long as he's here we won't win number 6.

you specifically brought up Steve Young. you're just gonna ignore Young's losses in his opportunities to even play in a SB? '92, '93, '95, '96, '97, '98. your logic is stupid.

The irony of this post when that exact thing was said about Steve Young.

You old timers need to get over yourselves. Many of us have seen those teams win(maybe not in our adult years) but things have changed, rules - in game and practice/safety wise, salary cap, etc..

It's not the same situation and the idea that 49ers didn't lose big games is BS. They didn't lose SBs. They also didn't face HOF level QBs with great defenses in their SBs or had to deal with BS officiating or OT rules(once again a reminder that Shanahan wins the SB in 2023 with the rules that Walsh/Seifert got to coach with)

You're free to avoid this forum until a new coach comes in btw. Nobody is forcing you to post here. Feel free to just rewatch the old days and remind yourself how we never lost the big games.
The only thing I do feel bad about is so many here won't get to experience a Super Bowl victory parade in SF. This is the Jed York 49ers. I have no doubt that shanahans gonna get another 5 years here after his contract is up. Justin's what it is.

Whereas I feel bad for the 9er "fans" that are rooting for failure so Kyle goes.

LOL.
We were 5-7 in NFC championship games in the 70s-90s.

People tend to ignore the bad and only talk about the good. Those 81-98 teams were awesome but also lost a lot of big games, blew big games, even sometimes struggled in big games they won. A lot of fans seems to think it was always flawless execution and domination and that just isn't true.

1981 season NFCC woth Montana is a great example. Everyone remembers "the catch" but never talks about the god awful game he had up till that point. lol

i believe in shanny. Shame he hasn't won one but his career with Brock is just starting - he accomplished a ton for not having a top qb

Of course they suffered big losses every good team in the league does. The difference is the organization won SBs when they got that far back then. They were the team of the 80s for a reason

The saying should have been 49ers HC don't lose SBs. KS should shoulder the majority of the blame for blowing 2 10PT leads in the 4th quarter of SBs.
