But in no way can you honestly watch our offensive line play the last few years and think we don't need anything there. We literally waited until 7th - 33 - 249 overall to pick our one and only offensive linemen. He is big and versatile. But talk about putting offensive linemen on the ignore button. Wait until the second to last pick we have. We need a lot more of these guys. Early and often. LG is a big question mark. C is sub par. LT is getting older and may be gone to retirement soon. We have McKivitz who is not great but has improved. The one young STUD is Puni at RG. This is not a great offensive line though. It falls into shambles if TW is hurt and has in the past. Same if he retires after this year.

You are not a serious team if you put the offensive line on total ignore button until the 2nd to last pick. I think you need a new regime before they take offensive line seriously.

Well, we are consistent. Same draft strategy every year.

Yeah they do it every year. It's unbelievable at this point. Other teams pick offensive line when I watch the drafts. Including the Chiefs, Eagles and Lions for example.

And these people expect different results.

I'll take more NFC title games ty. I am praying for the same results.
Chiefs just spent 15 million a year on our swing tackle because the guys everyone wanted the last two years, Wanya Morris and Kingsley Suamataia, were so terrible they couldn't play them. I wanted Kingsley too so I'm not immune but you don't get credit for "valuing positions" if you miss badly.

I don't think we can win the big game until we fix this offensive line. The Eagles are dominant on both lines. Including the offensive line. The Lions have a dominant offensive line. They choked in the playoffs. But had lots of injuries. Never the less they were 15 - 2. You got to build the offensive line. Even the Bears are trying to build it for Caleb Williams. The Chiefs address it for Mahomes in FA and the draft. This isn't a serious team until we deal with the offensive line.
Kyle is good enough to scheme around average D line play.. It's when we reach the playoffs and beyond we get exposed for a week oline. Either way.. We're doing the same thing expecting different results.

It's not going to work until they fix the offensive line.

Chiefs keep failing at it however. Is paying Jaylon Moore 15 mil a year smart?

Wrong team to use as an example.

The point is they actually pick and and try at it in FA and the draft. The Eagles and Lions are more dominant at offensive line if you want to put it like that.
I'm predicting that this will be Shanahan's last year as 49ers head coach, I think Saleh taking over is a possibility

Agreed but this fanbase has an entire participation trophy element to it (see above). I cannot see us beating the eagles. Lions, rams, and packers will be tough. I feel like Arizona and falcons are much improved as well. I haven't even scoped the rest of the league yet.

Tbh I can see something like Lynch leaving first and that's when we know it's over for this group.

I highly doubt that. Maybe next next year if we suck again this year.

Now imagine if we paid Moore 15 million a year . . .

A lot of these so called better regimes got exposed.

After watching the draft I can see how a team that consistently drafts with the last pick in the draft would pay a player like Moore. Remember they still got a nice OT at the end on round 1, but that wasn't a guarantee so they made sure to address thier OL.

Meanwhile, we grabbed a 7th round guard and saved a bunch of money.
