Man, i can't stand Kyle even more than ever right now. I just saw an interview with Brady talking about going against the chiefs with the Bucs in the Super Bowl and he said his super power wasn't how fast he could run or how hard he could throw, it was he knew exactly what the KC defense was going to do. Yeah, it would have sucked having that guy as our QB. And I guarantee Kyle didn't want Brady because he wouldn't have been plyable like Jimmy and Brock are. Kyle can do his S and a lesser QB will just go along with it like a QB like Brady wouldn't have. Kyle would have sent in what Jimmy called, one of his sucky calls, and he wouldn't have audibled right out of it. The 49ers haven't won a Super Bowl because Kyle is a control freak and he's stubborn and refuses to change.
you are using fan logic.
If Kyle could get a time machine and go back and sign Brady in 2020, he would knowing what we know now.
as for Brady coming here, in no way we would have gotten the same Brady.
The 2019 Bucs were 7-9
The 2020 Bucs were 11-5 and won the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady had everything to do with that swing. I know it's hard giving credit to someone that could've done the same for us if our head coach made the right decision, but let's not be disingenuous and take credit away from the greatest quarterback of this generation just to prop up Kyle Shanahan…
why do you purposely leave out all facts. this always make you look like you have no idea what you are talking about.
I would take genus's advice if i were you.
Yea. Tom Brady had nothing to do with winning that SB for Tampa...
"Brady's defense won that SB lol"
Your words. I will give you some credit, though.
I lived in Tampa from 2018-2021. TBs defense was very good that year. But they improved significantly because they finally had an offense that could sustain drives and not turn the ball over. Jameis Winston had like 30 INTs in 2019.
I think Tom Brady had more (perhaps a lot more) to do with them getting to and winning that SB than the defense did. It's impossible to quantify but like I said, the difference in offensive TOs from the QB position in 2019 vs 2020 point to a major improvement on the offensive side of the ball which in turn helps the defense. They played complementary football as all good teams do. Your post indicates that the D had more to do with winning than Tom Brady which I (and most people) would wholeheartedly disagree with.
TB does bring in some magic, but it wasn't some juggernaut offense or some passing clinic. no one outside of TB had them locked in as for sure SB winners
