3rd and 8 against green bay in 2019. 49ers call a trap run with Mostert and he scores a TD
3rd and 8 against green bay in 2022. 49ers call a deebo run after first drawing up a pass play and taking a TO. Deebo gets a first down and kick a game-winning field goal

Taking ball out of Jimmys hands on 3rd and long isnt a bad idea. Sure, not all the time, but in leverage situations in a close game it's not that bad. They were 1 for 10 on third downs ! Clearly passing the ball didn't work.

GTFO. Because a play worked one time 3 years ago when a defense was probably not expecting it and the RB had break away speed is not a case for making it a staple of the offense.

Yeah it's a shame every other qb under shanny over 6 years here couldn't hit them either.

Well Jimmy is an average QB and Mullens and Beathard are career backups. As for Trey he hasn't really been given his chance yet as he only had 3 career starts under his belt. My Blame for Kyle has more to do with him being the reason Jimmy is still here. He chose Jimmy. Should have cut him early in the offseason and go get a quality backup that has a better arm and more mobile.

So then we will be in year 8 after trey takes his time to develop and to determine if shanny has his qb.

At least tomsula only wasted 1 niners season

Purdy will be the next QB to win a super bowl for us...

Just watch!

It's why Trey should have been starting last season. Wasting a year of his development and his rookie deal. That is on Kyle.

So every season without a Superbowl win is a wasted season?

Shanahan inherits a train wreck, and takes us to the NFCCG twice and the Superbowl once. Certainly he has things that need improving, but a little perspective is in order

No, Trey was too raw last year. You can't take a deep roster with some top talent and tell them to f**knoff while this kid develops. Niners were successful last year staying with Jimmy, and came up just short.

They were hoping Trey was further along this year but shanahans playcalling suggested otherwise.

I wonder where are all those guys who always pull stats and tweets from random guys in the Internet to justify Shanahan's shortcomings now that Baldinger called him out.

I agree. Im hard on shanny sometimes. But I'm just angry at the state of the franchise. I'm angry about treys injury and how he was used. I'm angry that Jimmy has a s**t game in his first real game back, but understand he has no practice and timing down. I'm angry the offense looks lost without McDaniels. I'm angry Shanahan is running Wilson into thenground and refuses to give mason some more carries. I'm angry the oline looks like s**t and has no depth.

After all that and a win next week and the niners are in first place in the division.

KS on the verge of an NFL record most consecutive games without cracking a smile.

Ya'll see Kellen Moore? He dialed up a big play and it didn't work. QB hit it, WR dropped it. His reaction he jumped up and down and cracked a smile and thumbs up to the QB. He was saying good job Cooper you hit it. Stuff like that can go a long way in life for anybody. Bring a lil positive energy KS

Right?

The 2010 49ers were the overwhelming favorite to win the NFC West. He walked into a team with a Pro Bowl RB, TE, top LT, top DE, and All Pro LB.

Which of those did Kyle have?

If there's one thing I know is that people in their jobs need to be coddled especially when making millions of dollars. Really need to treat them like children and just keep up with the positive re-enforcement. Cause constructive criticism is just what mean bullies do

It's the little things. Everyone pick up your trash. Pick up your stuff.
