49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

Everybody has a right to their own opinion.

I just hope Jed doesn't fire anybody over fans' opinions.

Nobody should be fired for at least 3 years. Let them do their thing.

Its fun.

Right. We are 0-4 with not a lot to look forward to this season. Might as well have a little fun on the threads. Win, lose, tie we have zero control

Exactly. We stink so all we can do is make light of it.

Not sure why we all have to be 100% on board with our direction.

Do you not find it odd that a QB that was highly successful with like 6 other teams comes here and suddenly forgets how to play?

This is how I know you're trolling.

Yeah that's just a flat-out wrong statement sorry. Dude has thrown a 400-yard game here and there but that's it. He threw a 330-yard game against the Rams two weeks ago. That doesn't mean anything now, does it?

If you look at his stats prior to coming here, he's been a good quarterback. At least for the last few seasons.

Let's be honest, no "highly successful" player goes to 6 teams. Not unless he's got some serious off the field issues.

Hoyer is a journey man QB who had a great set of games last year with Chicago but for the most part has been pretty mediocre...which is why he's on his 6th team.

What makes more sense in your head.

That a coach who got Matt Ryan to play the best football of his career and got him to be the MVP of the league doesn't know what he's doing and is making Brian Hoyer worse than he really is due to playcalling.

OR

That Brian Hoyer isn't doing the things the coaches expect him to do?

And yet people are blaming Shanahan for everything. It's mind-boggling.

A lot of people were pouring the Homey Kool Aid. We were completely outraged that Vegas set out over/under at 4.5.
"Hoyer didn't have to be great, Shanny will scheme the offense successfully." Does he deserve any blame? Hoyer was his boy and as many point out .... handed the job.

I think we do need to be patient. I never bought we would the scheming thing.

Seems to me it is hard to be real successful without the Franchise QB. I think there are less than 15 true ones. How we get one is beyond me. All our QBs that took us to the SB, none were first round picks. But that means finding a diamond in the rough which is always iffy.

Do you not find your statement ironic?

Dude is about to get on my ignored list...just a few more trolling posts and I'm doin' it!
