It'll be interesting to watch for sure.

Thank god for ray-ray and frost.

This is true.

Who do you think wins the base WILL? I like Ray-Ray out there on first down. But I do love Frosts physicality. Really tough decision.

I see it the other way...Frosty was a killer run stopper in college and should be starting....Ray Ray the former safety should be the coverage LB who comes in on passing downs.

Seems like they went with the wrecking ball Frost and it definitely makes sense. WHAT SHOULDER!?

Foster is going to be an every down WILL IMHO. The question is who's going to be lining up next to him in nickel. Bowman? Ray-Ray? Tartt?

In BEST 11, Foster never leaves the field. The remainder is plug and play, experiment. You know you got one piece figured out. Experiment around Reuben and it will figure itself out. Heck,Saleh has probably already told Bow, Rayray and tartt that. Once we see individual guys at that slot, it won't be hard to determine who . Most importantly, one guy is already a lock . YOu just experiment around him. Easy. 1, maybe 2 games to isolate who should be there.

#1 should be ILB...a veteran MIKE or WILL. We have no depth behind Bowman or Foster unless you are counting on Ray-Ray and another special teamer in Brock Coyle.
Not going to dispute that, but there is ohter talent around ILB. Front "6" if you will. But in back, unhhh....there are miles and miles of spaces around each DB...and talent remains a ???. Hopefully I'm wrong, and those great plays by RR after a few dramatic fluffs...become the norm. But right now, I am no less concerned with DBs than i was before FA and draft. Have to admit in the last game, DJ was shadowing a WR, gave him a shove, then another and THEN...kaBOOM...nice uppercut to the kisser and down he went like a sack of schid.

If i see more of that, plus our DBs sticking wiht WRs, then ok, i agree, ILB. Until that though, it just seems the door is open for opponents to throw on us all game long. Hopefully i am bad wrong. I want it to be that way. But if correct and WRs run crazy on us, then CB. I just have a feel for a CB coming our way. No idea whom...but i think that is the one or maybe two guys we bring in. It won't be a bunch because we are up against it on OL right now. Same at RB. More keepers than we have room for, some greener than others. But space is a concern. So 1 guy, maybe 2 from the cuts. Cuts....just wish like Smokes that we could carry 57 instead of 53.. It's not like the owners are hurting.for money. Maybe the bottom 4 teams in the league get 57 for that yr,? IDK, but weaker or outright bad teams need a bit more help when they have so many holes to fill.

League always talks about parity...well, there you go...make bottom teams eligible for 4 more guys for that yr, and you get to parity quicker.

Good post doc...I know you've been concerned about the DB's for a while now. And that's understandable. But at least we know we have talent there from Robinson, Johnson, Witherspoon, Ward, Williams, Jerome, Reid to Tartt.

Behind Bowman and Foster is Brock Coyle and Ray-Ray.

And Bowman has an injury history as does Foster.

Remember last year when we were down to Wilhoite and Nick Bellore.

Pretty hard to forget, NC. And i was a baalke fan in 2011-3, but i got over it. Hey, at least he didn't sign OSweiler who CLEVE has to pay a cool $17 mil this yr for staying off their field. GAdzooks. Now that? That qualifies as worst of all time F/U. I guess it coulda been us. We cookin' now.

Personally I'd be looking for potential edge rushers if Aaron does not make the cut. But yeah, if you consider an edge rusher a LB, then I agree with you NC. As for DB's, a good edge rusher will make the most mediocre DB look all pro. We have D Line talent, so LB and CB are my areas of concern, and once the cuts have come and the waiver wire claims comes into play - I hope ShanaLynch can strike some gold in them thar santa clara foothills.
